Excellent! Practical and full of wisdom.
This book is even better than Neil Anderson's "Bondage Breaker". Dr. Kraft shares hard-won insights from years of experience that you won't find anywhere else. For example, no one else correctly answers, or even tries to answer, the question "Can demons read your thoughts?" (See page 115.) He makes a useful distinction of demons being either "inside" or "outside" a person when attacking or harassing their target. In fact, he provides a very useful framework for understanding how demonic oppression occurs. Specifically, to be inside, demons must have "rights" to inhabit a person's mind/body and these rights typically derive from sin in the person's life (but not always; there are other causes like clinging to anger, fear, unforgiveness, and other unhealthy emotions). He also gives a pretty comprehensive list of demonic names/functions. This is useful for calling them forward by name, asking whether they have rights to be there anymore, working on repentance of sin if needed, and then casting the demon out.Do you wonder if you might be demonized? Try this. Get in a quiet place and say the following (in your mind is fine, it does not have to be out loud): “To the demons inside, I command you in Jesus’ name to make yourselves known and come to attention.” If they are there, get Kraft's book and learn how to kick them out!Kraft's "power encounter" approach differs from Neil Anderson's "truth encounter" approach to spiritual warfare. Kraft advocates determining the identity/function of the demons in order to cast them out. Anderson's approach is to pray for forgiveness for everything that you can think of and hope that the demons are all gone. I believe Kraft's approach is much preferred as Anderson's approach just leaves some of the demons weakened, but still present. Kraft's approach gets every last one of them out. "Spiritual Warfare" by Karl Payne is similar to Kraft's book and is also very helpful as a step-by-step how-to deliverance guide. This book is a fantastic resource. HIGHLY recommended!

Satan Alive and Well
Satan is real and he exists. Yes this is something that the vast majority of Christians and Protestant denominations don't like to talk about..but they need to. Dr. Kraft is not some shill, he is an experienced and respected theologian who is willing to acknowledge the presence of Satan and his demons in our modern feel good world where Christians are very uncomfortable about acknowledging the the dark forces that are rampant in our lives. This is not an easy read due to the fact that the vast majority of Christians in the US are not comfortable about talking about Satan and his power...Yes his power to use forces to destroy lives.Dr. Kraft is very systematic in describing demonic oppression and how it impacts those who are suffering. He provides sufficient facts and other information to take one who is skeptic to one who can believe that there are evil forces attacking the lives of countless individuals. If you are struggling in your life and there seems to be no solutions to your problems; then read this book!!! Having gone through an experience of demonic oppression which I did not know that it exists, I now believe...

Find Freedom from Hidden Forces!
I enjoyed Charles Kraft's book on understanding the work of demons, and the practical understandings contained in the book. It was well written and contained a good working knowledge of deliverance ministry. I have read several books by several authors on demons and demonology. One significant feature is Kraft's working knowledge of the believer's authority over Satan's kingdom. I liked this. The one issue, which Kraft raises, is should believers talk to demons to obtain information. Further, he does not clearly lay out a practical working strategy for deliverance ministry. I wish he had included this in the book. It would have made it much better. That's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Kraft's excellent writing and organizational skills make this an easy read
This is THE book you have to have if you are taking on the demonic. Dr. Kraft's excellent writing and organizational skills make this an easy read, BUT what's the best is that he gives so many examples, lists of the demonic and situations to watch for. His key is to clean up the "garbage" that the demonic attaches to and then cast them out.I read his, "I Give You All Authority," earlier and it was great, but this and "Two Hours to Freedom," complete the "how-to" once you understand the authority we have in our Lord Jesus Christ. Excellent. Would recommend this to any one who is doing inner healing, deliverance or whatever you want to call freedom from the demonic.

Biblical, practical, sensible from a lifetime of ministry experience.
Dr. Kraft describes how the front lines of spiritual warfare actually look. When this work on the demonic is paired with his exposition on how dissociation works to compartmentalize memory of traumatic events and emotions and keep them from immediate consciousness , the spiritual toolkit is greatly enhanced. His works are absolutely required reading for anyone committed to helping those who struggle with a range of issues that do not readily yield to psychological remedies.

This book gives you a really good insight on the subject of deliverance
Kraft's strategy to deliverance and casting out demons has opened up my mind on the subject. After studying a few other books, I have respect on how he focuses more on clearing the garbage first before getting rid of the rats.In other words, focusing first on inner-healing (garbage), filling the void with Jesus, reducing the power of the demons (rats) and getting rid of the ones that is left. This shows a kind and gentle way of deliverance. Of course each case would be treated differently.I always thought, like the movie 'The Exorcist' - it has to be a scary process involving fighting, vomiting, screaming ...etcBut Kraft's approach, does not promote that. In fact the opposite. If you have seen on YouTube the prophet TB Joshua for example, he would casts out demons publicly on air, and spends time conversing with the demons. I personally find this humiliating for the one in bondage as you watch the demons manifest and torture the person before it is released.I'd also recommend reading this with "Pigs in the Parlour"
