Easy & Effective
This product has been great so far! It is extremely quiet. Honestly I don’t think it makes any noise. It is easy to take apart and wash. The night light has 2 settings and it’s a the perfect amount of soft warm light. The light kind of looks like a lava lamp when turned on and that makes it soothing and fun to look at. I have this in my living room and it has upped the humidity. I bought a brita pitcher and I use filtered tap water. This humidifier is effective and adjustable. It also doesn’t leave a film or any residue like other humidifiers. I am really impressed.

Keeps My Home’s Humidity Just Right — Smart and Simple!
I’ve been using this Levoit smart humidifier for a few weeks now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my home’s air quality. The app control is a nice touch — I can check and adjust humidity levels right from my phone without getting up, and voice control through my smart assistant makes it even more convenient for quick adjustments. What I appreciate most is how consistently it maintains the humidity level I set, rather than the up-and-down swings I got with my old humidifier. My skin and my plants (I have a few pothos and an orchid) have both been thriving since I started using it — the air just feels less dry overall, especially noticeable in the mornings. It’s quiet enough to run overnight without being distracting, and refilling the tank is simple. The only minor downside is that the app occasionally takes a few seconds to sync, but it’s a small trade-off for the convenience it offers. Overall, this is a great pick if you want a humidifier that’s both effective and genuinely “smart” — not just smart in name only. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with dry indoor air.

This works and is very quiet
The easiest set up ever. This humidifier is so easy to use and the fill tank fits under the faucet. The control panel is very user friendly, water flows into the air immediately when you turn it on. And it is so quiet! I did pair it with the app for timer and light control and it couldn’t be simpler. If you don’t want to use the app you can change the light and timer settings right on the control panel. It is efficient adding humidity into my very dry Arizona air. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it!

I keep buying these humidifiers
This is the third Levoit humidifier I've purchased because it's quiet and effective. I love the app connectivity so I can adjust the optimum humidity level. I live in the dry, dry desert and I snore if this thing isn't running! Levoit customer service is also friendly and responsive. I had to replace this latest one because the motor was loud right out of the box, and although I had to jump through a few hoops, they did replace it. The reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lifespan is only about 2 years. After that, the motor starts getting loud enough that it can't be run at night. But overall it's a great product.

Excellent Humidifier – Quiet, Effective & Perfect for Better Breathing
I purchased this humidifier to help improve my elderly dog’s breathing, and it has made a noticeable difference. Since using it, his nighttime coughing has reduced significantly, and he’s now sleeping comfortably through the night. It’s been wonderful to see such a positive improvement. One of my favourite features is the built-in humidity gauge, which makes it easy to monitor and maintain the ideal humidity level in the room. The soft night light is also a lovely touch, providing just enough light without being disruptive. Best of all, this humidifier is virtually silent. It runs so quietly that it doesn’t disturb our sleep at all, making it ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, or anyone looking for a quiet humidifier.

I love this humidifier
Easy to clean, easy to fill and hold a lot of water, and the app is just icing on the cake. If I ever need to replace it, I’ll be buying this one again but it’s been working just fine for my son who gets nosebleeds when the air is too dry

Honestly Amazed
After researching multiple humidifiers, I settled on this Levoit 650S and I'm honestly blown away by it, enough to write a review. The designs and the features are just so over the top, you can tell they put a lot of care into a humidifier which is not a device that typically gets much thought. I'm coming from an old basic sunbeam ultrasonic unit which was loud, had to be refilled at the sink (from the bottom) and impossible to clean. This Levoit unit blows it away and it has so many features I didn't even expect. Automation & Smart Features: If you're considering this unit, it's probably for the smart features. And it's way more comprehensive than I anticipated. If you've ever set up a smart bulb, the setup and app function is very similar. You can set schedules, timers, mist intensity, change the light temperature and brightness and target what humidity level you want. There are even "scenes" I don't quite understand yet. For my schedule, I run my unit at 50% humidity during the day with the light on in daylight hue, from 9AM to 9PM. From 9PM to 9AM, the light transitions to warm 2700k, 50% brightness, and I target 45% humidity during the night. This schedule took about 5 minutes to setup. Bit of a learning curve as with any new app, but not too convoluted. Since the system automatically detects ambient humidity, you can use that as a target like a thermostat and let it do its thing. It will automatically turn on and off as needed. I didn't expect this, I was mostly just looking for something I could schedule on and off, but this is way more accurate. 45% - 50% is ideal for house plants. Above 60% you risk mold growth. So it's best to have a unit which maintains a target, rather than guessing with an on/off switch. In addition, the app keeps a history of everything, almost like a fitness app. It constantly records humidity levels, so you can see (if you wanted) what humidity was like during the night, even if your unit isn't running. Then maybe adjust it for your sleep to figure out what's best. A bit superfluous to track humidity like this, but again I appreciate the effort by Levoit. Aesthetics & Nightlight: So...the design is beautiful. Yes a humidifier is beautiful. The big tank is nicely shaped and crystal clear like glass, and the central steam column with the night light creates a very nice aesthetic. The light is perfect for a night light. Some people complained it was too dim and I think they're missing the point. It just looks nice in a pitch black room. That's it. If it were any brighter, it would be bothersome to have on at night. This is great on a night stand, though you may want the smaller model. The front plate displays the current humidity. The LEDs on the front are white and not too bright for a dark room. I've added an image and it seems brighter in the photo than it really is. It's similar to an old alarm clock, and the numbers are big and easy to read from a distance. The entire front can also be turned off if you want no lights at all. The controls are touch activated, but I mostly interact via my phone. Output & Noise: I have it set to run automatically 24/7, so I set it to the gentle/lowest setting which is completely inaudible. At the maximum setting, it can really pump out mist and is no louder than a desktop computer fan. Aromatherapy: I didn't even know this existed when I bought it, but there's a little internal tray you can add essential oils to. Haven't tried this yet, but I intend to. Orange, Lemon and Lavender would be nice. Maybe some sandalwood. Filling & Cleaning: Unlike my old sunbeam, the main base of this unit stays dry, with a wet tray over base which the tank connects to. So you pull out the wet tray and run it through the dishwasher, theoretically keeping the main unit completely clean of mold or mineral deposits as it doesn't come into contact with water. This is a HUGE feature as my old sunbeam was impossible to clean. The tank sat right into the base, so there was always water in a base filled with electronics you couldn't get wet. Again, by comparison, completely thoughtless. It's the little things that come from regular use which determine whether a product is just "meh" or "I love this thing". And this is in the latter category. I used tap water in my last unit, and we have great tap water in Colorado. But I'm using filtered Zero Water this time to avoid any mineral build up, along with stripping out chlorine and fluoride. Only pure water is emitted this way. Since the unit can be refilled from the top, you can take smaller pitchers of water to refill/top up and not have to haul a large tank. Great for older people, much more manageable. And the tank is quite large, it will last a few days of continual use without a refill. Overall, just refilling it is much less of a pain than the sunbeam was. Value: I got this on sale for a bit over $70 which I think is a great price given the features. Lots of other uglier, standard units are priced at this level. Levoit makes a lot of humidifiers and I actually think this is their best model. Highly recommended.

Great Device with Minor Flaws That Can Be Fixed
I’ve had this device for a couple weeks and have a few issues I’d like to point out: The ‘low’ setting produces a relatively loud high-pitched sound that I’m very sensitive to, so I cannot sleep with it on low. Fortunately, I use the auto setting, which rarely drops to low before turning off. The noise seems to come from the ultrasonic diaphragm, not the fan or other components, indicating the device is likely operating as intended. I've seen similar behavior in other ultrasonic humidifiers after trying several models. Ironically, medium/high settings are quieter than low and just produce more mist without that dreadful high-pitch sound. The app should not be necessary for all features. Out of the box, the available settings are low, medium, high, and auto. Auto defaults to 50% relative humidity, which is unreasonable, as no online resource I could find recommends an indoor relative humidity that high. For use in winter the commonly recommended range is 30-40%, and anything higher could encourage mold growth or excessive condensation. The app is needed to adjust the target humidity, which I strongly recommend you do, otherwise, you risk wasting power, water, and creating adverse effects from excess humidity. The device really should have an additional button to adjust target humidity, or repurpose an existing like holding the power level button or something which could be added in firmware. Auto mode also needs improvement. It runs the humidifier full blast until it exceeds your target by 5% and stops, not restarting until humidity falls 5% below the target. When I set my target to reasonable 35%, the room stayed very dry at under 30%, and the humidifier barely ran leaving the room quite uncomfortable. I adjusted to 45%, so it starts at 40% and runs to 50%, which I’ve found is a nice balance where the room mostly hangs closer to 40%. However, auto mode mostly runs on high, producing an excessive amount of vapor. I had to push the humidifier to the edge of my dresser to avoid moisture on the wall. I can only imagine using this on a shorter nightstand next to your bed risks soaking your floor or bed with how much mist this thing can kick out. Additionally, firmware updates are applied when connected to the app, indicating potential fixes for some issues I’ve encountered could be made. The 10% range in auto mode is far too large. I believe a 5% range would be much more ideal. I’d like to be able to set to 40%, it would then run until 42.5% and start again after falling to 37.5%, maintaining a more comfortable and controlled humidity level. Limiting mist power in auto would also help. My previous Winix humidifier allowed you to set the humidity target and limit power level. I would prefer limiting mist to medium to avoid any issues with excessive moisture when on the high setting. I also found a bug. The device allows turning off the display while activating the nightlight, but in the app, if you turn off the display, it reactivates when you turn on the nightlight. This requires manual adjustments on the device itself before bed, which is inconvenient and can be fixed in the app. Despite these issues, I still consider this a very good product. It's visually appealing, unlike most humidifiers which look like an unsightly medical device, and it works well. It puts water in the air, runs quietly (except on low if you're sensitive to high pitch sounds), and its 'smart' features work relatively well.

Works great!!
Works great for our living room (8x5m) I also got it to work in home assistant. I bought this model specifically for using it in home assistant and because of the good reviews. +: Big tank, silent, clear display, the cats stay away from it, app works great - : You have to create an account (I read somewhere that a credit card is needed. This is not true!). If the company takes down the service, the home assistant integration stops working. All together a great machine!
