Update- I had a mascara emergency recently ( I lost it while applying in the car, stoped, of course) or it fell out of the car for the walk of tardy shame for kid 2….it was a run into Walgreens and I didn’t want to spend a ton for what I may find later. Welcome to my life Wet n wild in the purple tube (waterproof over my primer), it has the same brush, I still poked myself in the eye, but I could tell no difference. Price tag, under $3 on sale. Zero flaking, zero smudge. Never did I think I would love a $3 mascara. Maybe fresher than this one? IDK. I may just have been converted. Original/ First I will say that I am a total mascara snob, I do not go ANYWHERE without mascara on. I have used Lancôme for 20+ years and any time I found the “next greatest” mascara and tried it I was so disappointed. I read lots of reviews and could hardly believe that THIS product could be this amazing. I expected a good mascara but nothing that blew me away. I was so wrong! The first time I tried it my lashes looked amazing! I have long and very thick lashes so many mascaras clump the lashes together, even my beloved Lancôme. The ones that do not clump do not seem to produce any noticeable results. THIS mascara not only gave perfect coverage from root easily to tip, it is a perfect level of thickness. There is NO CLUMPING! I have used it over my Lancôme primer just because I find that I get less under the eye mascara as the day progresses. However when I haven’t the lashes still look long, thick and defined. And it is absolutely the best single cosmetic product I have ever used! The brush took a few tries to really feel like I got it, but making sure the very tip is wiped is key to a random blob on my lid. I admit that having used different brushes for so long that I stabbed myself in the eye the first time I used it but that was entirely my fault. I also have always used a waterproof mascara, in heat and humidity it just stays better, however this has amazing staying power. I often fall asleep without removing makeup, but this is still looking great when I get up and is easily removed by my usual facial cleanser. I have not needed eye makeup remover. This was by far the best purchase I have made in a long time. Everyone needs to try this!!! I will add pictures if I can to the review. Edit- I am now on maybe my 4th tube (the first one is still pretty “fresh” and have tried a few others since buying this (ok, I’m obsessed with mascara!) AND given this as gifts multiple times and this still is by far the best mascara I’ve ever used. I have not gotten the waterproof version even though that is normally what I would go with because this one stays put so well. Seriously not sure how it is so inexpensive. Love it and everyone I have given this to has then ordered it.

This mascara is absolutely beautiful. Makes my lashes long, no clumping, BUT I had to give it to my mom. It does leave me with racoon/panda eyes. I have to go back to tubing mascaras again. I guess, if you have the issue with panda eyes, I will skip this product. If not, go for it. Excellent product.

I’m always trying new mascaras, especially because my lashes are thinning, and this one surprised me. The small brush makes it easy to coat even my shorter lashes without clumping, and it gives me noticeably more length and volume. I wore it for about 10 hours and had no flaking, smudging, or clumping. It also does a great job of holding the curl after using my lash curler. This is my first time trying brown mascara, and I’m loving it. The softer color really makes my blue eyes pop without looking as harsh as black. My lashes look fuller and thicker. For the price, I honestly think this is hard to beat. It has quickly become my new favorite mascara and one I will definitely repurchase. Tip: I apply Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Primer first. It’s tinted and makes a great base for building even more length and volume.

This mascara does create a long, pretty lash but it most definitely is not flake or smudge-proof. I have found I can't use as it irritates my eyes. When I wash off, my lashes appear clean but dark smudges appear under my eyes overnight. Nearly impossible to wipe away.

Absolutely LOVE this mascara!! It goes on easily and doesn't clump up. It lasts a long time as well. I will never go back to any other mascara

As a senior woman who faces the problem of thining eyelashes, this product works great. It does add volume, curls, lengthens, doesn’t clump, flake, is smudge proof and washable. The only con I found was unless you wipe “some” of the product off at the “tip” of the wand with a clean tissue before using, it will go on too thick. I also follow with an eyelash brush (I use an old toothbrush) to help separate lashes further. This is the best mascara for the price that I have used that actually DOES what it says. Will definitely buy again!

I saw this mascara and was intrigued by the made in italy sticker (i’m italian.) I’ve used the same line of maybelline sky high mascara for years. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING is as amazing as this mascara. No clumps, no flaking, stays in place, and it leaves your lashes bold and VOLUMINOUS! The applicator wand for this mascara is perfect for application! Will def buy this again.
