Leather bound journal.
This is a brown leather bound journal, with a metal lock to open and close. Rough cut pages, of which there are many, are brown to light brown and this makes a lovely journal for thoughts, daily missives or maybe for that first novel or book of poetry. The leather isn't too thick but should last a long time.

Truly looks like an old tome - great for gaming!
It was given as a gift to my niece, but not only did she love it, I loved it. It was beautiful and looked like an antique leather tome. Not only can she write in it, she can also draw (or possibly even paint?) in it.

Stunning Quality – Exceeded Every Expectation
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this journal exceeded every expectation. The delivery was impressively fast, and while the photos looked great online, they truly don’t do it justice. The look, feel, and quality are absolutely incredible—far beyond what I imagined. This is not a flimsy or cheap journal. The leather is rich and sturdy, the lock closure adds a beautiful touch, and the antique deckle-edged pages give it a timeless, magical feel. I use these as therapy journals for my clients, and every one of them is blown away by the craftsmanship. For the price, you won’t find anything that comes close. This is hands down the best journal I’ve purchased.Highly recommend—worth every penny.

Interesting texture of papers
I'm not in love or in deteste with this. Cover had something gritty on it upon delivery. It wiped off easy enough, but it was weird. The texture of the papers inside feel something akin to oily. They aren't actually oily, but that's the closest description I can use to explain the tactile sensation.Depending on the pen tip size, the pens don't glide nicely over it either. I find I have to retrace 2-3 times with ultra fine point gel pens. That's probably a feature of the paper.I like the color of the cover, but if I decided to buy this again I would look at the darker options.Size is perfect-I prefer thickness to overall size when journalling as I am not a great journalist or doodler. If you are an avid journalist and have a lot of things to write down, A6 is probably a size too small for you.Stitching and binding feel solid and secure. I don't fear papers falling out or ripping out from the stitch.I think the more I write this review, the more I like it despite the pen-to-paper issue.

Just as advertised. Beautiful.
This journal is just as advertised. I kind of wish there was room to add photos, but I don't believe it would close with added thickness. Even if i never write in It, it just looks awesome to have around.Beautiful if you like this sort of vintage thing. Leather is soft and pages are thick.Hmmm...I bet if I took some pages out, I good add photos, entry tickets, plane tickets, etc. I bought the 180 pages book to chronicle my travels...adventures.I really like it.

Perfect! The pages are rough and look aged
We’re putting together a treasure hunt for my son. Inside the treasure chest, we wanted to have a ships log filled out by the captain, and this journal is perfect. The pages are rough on the edges, so it looks very old. And they are discolored (intentionally) so again, aged and weathered. It took me a few days, but I got a pen and came up with some stories that this captain may have encountered on his voyages. My husband is going to do some scrimshaw style sketches on some of the pages as well.
