I purchased these A-M Gutter Guards for both our house and barn, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. They are truly top quality—heavy-duty aluminum that feels built to last, and you can tell they’re made in the USA with care and precision. Installation was a breeze! I was able to easily install them myself without any special tools or help. The fit was absolutely perfect for our 5-inch gutters, and everything locked into place securley. Once installed, they instantly improved the look and function of our gutter system. Since putting them up, we haven’t had a single issue with leaves, pine needles, or debris clogging the gutters—even during heavy storms. They allow rainwater to flow through smoothly while keeping everything else out. I highly recommend these. It’s a great investment in your home’s upkeep, and I love that I won’t have to worry about gutter maintenance for years to come!

These were a perfect fit for our 5 inch gutters. There were only 2 issues that presented a challenge. On our house the metal roofing was over length in parts which meant the 5 inch gutters were in effect 4 inches back to the metal roofing lip that extended down opposite the edge of the gutter. It was easy to bend the back of the gutter guards on a flat surface, allowing the guard to be fitted, took a bit of pressure and they easily snapped into place. You need to remember where the metal eavestrough cross supports are as the S/S screws will not penetrate. Installed the A-M S/S screws with my impact drill -they were very easy to install and secure the gutter guards. Secondly be thorough in reading how to do the 90 degree inner and outer corners - get it right and it's easy- takes a couple tries to get it right, so best to use any cut off short pieces to try out first and understand how he overlap works. Cut off the leaf plastic guards over the downpipes when you install to maximize water flow. These are made of very good quality aluminum. I installed no problems. I had my upper eaves done last year by a contactor using their well advertised S/S netting for around $7,000. after negotiating down from $10,000. To do both floors they wanted over $20,000. These on our lower floor gutters I installed myself were $500 for the gutters and S/S screws!!! Great product and extremely great value!

Good product

We installed this on a 2-story house so understandably we didn't want a product that required a lot of messing around at height. This snaps into the gutter like nothing on the straightaways. We started in one corner, made our 45 degree joints, and worked out from there. 150 feet of installation took 3 hours including cleanup with one person working in a safety harness and another acting to manage the rope length. We had 6 sections that required 22 degree cuts as the roof followed a curve which was time consuming when you are 25 feet high and can't see the entire work area. On a bungalow using standard ladders I could see an entire house getting done in 1 hour. Make sure you order the matching stainless screws from the same vendor, or source #8 stainless sheet metal screws locally. Avoid the temptation to get cheap zinc plated screws - they will rust and stain. This is definitely a do-it-yourself job with the right equipment. A safety harness with tether cost $90 and we got it done for less than half for what people quoted.

More expensive than most, but good quality. Heavier gauge aluminum. Also like the design. Many of the screens out there are completely flat, so in wet weather, leaves would just stick to the screen. The ridges in these screen keep the leaves from making full contact, so they dry out quicker and blow away in the next wind. Easy to install from the roof side, (if heights are not an issue for you.) Installed 200’ in about 2 hours. So happy it’s the last time I’ll be going up on the roof to clean gutters. Would recommend. One issue though, you would think at the premium price you pay for this brand, they would include screws. Lesser brands, like the ones you get from your local Canadian Tire store do. So count on a trip to the hardware store, where they happily rip you off for the screws that should be included. $20 CAD for 200 screws at Rona. Would have given 5 stars, but the screw thing bugs me.
