Super R-Lipoic Acid, R-Form, 240 mg, 60 Capsules

I have been using this product for a couple of years now it has helped me with the tingling and my nerve pain. I would much rather take this not gabapentin, but because this is not covered by insurance it’s become increasingly expensive over the last couple years so I am now in the process of looking for the same product but made by someone else. It works well for me with no side effects. It’s a great product.

This was recommended to me specifically for cellular energy, mitochondrial support, and heart health, especially during times of fatigue and stress. Ubiquinol is the active, more absorbable form of CoQ10, which is why this one made sense for me. Seems to be working and assisting with reducing some mild neuropathy on my feet

I ordered 2 times. The first order was fine with a 04/01/2028 expiration date. The second bottle I ordered weeks later must have been sitting around awhile because it had a 08/01/2027 expiration date. The interior of the second bottle was covered in burst capsule contents. It also did not contain an Oxygen absorber and had a sour smell. I will be discarding the contents of this bottle. I believe the first bottle helped my neuropathy and would like to continue using R-Lipoic-Acid. Amazon refunded the cost of the damaged item. I ordered a third bottle because I believe it has helped me. The problem was the packaging NOT the product.

I started taking these for fertility treatments (read It Starts With The Egg). It's impossible to say if they're working for that purpose but I can confirm I've had no adverse side effects and this brand is the most affordable for the quality- lots of fertility specialists recommend this brand. There is some anecdotal evidence I've had a slight increase in energy after using these a couple of months but nothing concrete. Still, I'm extremely happy to find a supplement that is affordable by a reputable company specifically for improving egg quality so I will keep purchasing!

Purity of product

I have taken this for a few years now. This is the best form of alpha lipoic acid. If it doesn't have the R, it's synthetic and it's junk. This bottle lasts me two months usually. I take one every morning on an empty stomach with water, about 15 minutes before I have coffee. I initially started taking this for fibromyalgia-like pains in my arms and shoulders. This supplement, along with strengthening my back, has eliminated my pain. I believe this supplement is very effective for nerve and muscle pain. I've read a book about lipoic acid and the benefits are massive. It's an anti oxidant that's natural and as you age, your body makes less of it. This is a supplement that actually works. I have my husband taking it now too. Pills aren't too big and are easy to swallow with water. Container is easy to open. I think the company, life extension, makes quality supplements.

I take this on a regular basis as I have neuropathy. And this seems to help with regeneration of new nerves that I have acquired in the use of super R-Lipoic acid

Broken capsules and powdery contents all over inside the bottle. It is similar to others experience with this brand.
