Aircast A60 Ankle Support Brace, Right Foot, White, Large (Shoe Size: Men's 12+ / Women's 13.5+)

Nach einem Bänderriss, geht es wieder los. Tennis und Laufen. Für das Laufen habe ich eine Bandage von Bauerfeind (Sports Ankle Support) - Da brauche ich auch nur eine leichte Unterstützung. Für die Bewegungsabläufe beim Tennis habe ich nach etwas gesucht, was mehr Unterstützung bringt. - Jetzt versuche ich es erst einmal mit dieser Stütze. - Mir passt sie gut. Ich trage die ganz normalen Hallenschuhe. Bei den ersten Trageversuchen bin ich mit der Ferse/Mittelfuß immer etwas im Schuh gerutscht. Zunächst habe ich die Schuhe fester geschnürt. Dann ein paar Füßlinge zusätzlich über die Stütze gezogen. Leider ohne Erfolg. Dann habe ich eine Lösung für mich gefunden. Ich habe die Plastikstütze aus der Bandage gezogen und den unteren Bereich mit Kinesotape getuned. Jetzt rutscht nix mehr. Jetzt finde ich die Stütze top. Mal sehen, was die Haltbarkeit macht. Bisher 3x/Woche Tennis (Einzel). Wenn Sie so 3 Monate hält wäre super. Man trägt solche Dinger ja eher für den Kopf, als für das Gelenk. Mir hilft sie.

After a broken ankle in summer, I was just getting back to serious running when I turned over the same ankle on a muddy trail. Two weeks of pain later and losing confidence I bought one of these after reading lots of good reviews. Fits really well and no discomfort after my first, albeit fairly short, run. Feels totally stable and my mojo is back!! Already ordered another one in black. Update 30/05/21. Just ran a marathon on this. No discomfort and no issues. Strongly recommend.

Much more comfortable than a previous Aircast model from a few years back. Just as functional and also easier to put on and take off

A really well designed bit of kit that does its job better than others I’ve tried and is surprisingly comfortable. But it is at the top end of the price range so I’d expect better build quality. The under strap Velcro doesn’t work and looks badly attached. I’ve owned it a week but I feel it won’t last a long time but, given that it supports so well, I will have to buy another.
