A very effective open pattern mesh ceramic abrasive that is very resistant to clogging, cuts particularly rapidly and yet provides a uniform flat finish. Cubritron is just about the fastest mesh type abrasive for material removal when new. However, I find the abrasive dulls quicker than for instance Mirka Abranet or Norton Powermesh, that are uniformly coated in ceramic abrasive; this is particularly noticeable in rotex sanding mode on oak boards. Hence four stars. Typically Cubritrion costs less per disk, so I guess it balances out in terms of value.

I have sculpted and lathe turned wood for many years and if I had a dollar for ever hour spent sweating through the sanding process I would be a very rich man! The 3M Xtract Clean Sanding System changed all that for me the first time I tried it. Excellent and FAST results with only a light touch needed. As such, I was able to concentrate on finessing my finish work rather than practically slaving over a resistant scratch that just would not go away. This is the second revolutionary product I’ve bought from 3M in the last couple months, the other product being the 3M 2091 Dust Mask. Superior protection and your glasses will never steam up! Great quality product sand very well. They are an inch too small for my sander. I should have done checked the size disks it requires first. Assumed 8” was the correct size. I just trim them to 5” and use with my palm sander. They work great! You get the finish of traditional disks with the cleanliness of net

Excelente producto algo caro pero la malla hace que no se tape funciona excelente en cuanto a que dure más que uno normal no estoy seguro pero el polvo no tapa la lija así que bastante efectivo
