UPDATE2: Well, this mixer is working perfectly well now. And, I can't replicate any of the problems I was having with this mixer when I first got it. I was getting tons of noise when running off batteries, didn't matter if they were rechargeable or alkalines, and the USB power pack I was running it off of kept shutting down.The seller was responsive as well and assured me that they stand behind their products.I've hooked up this mixer nearly a dozen times now... used an assortment of different cables, mics, aux inputs. I've used it on an iPhone SE and an iPad Pro. Everything has worked perfectly. I CAN get a little bit of noise if I have the mixer sitting right next to the iPhone when they're hooked up together... but nothing like I was getting before.No clue why it's working now, or why it wasn't at first. The best speculation I've got is that when I first unboxed it, and then plugged in the first 3.5mm mini cables into it's 1 & 2 channels, there was some rough resistance. They didn't go in smooth like you'd expect. They do now, but I'm wondering if there was maybe a bit of metal that didn't get finished out inside one of the ports that got knocked free and was causing some kind of short circuit situation? No idea, but now that it's been working perfectly without any hint of the initial problems I experienced, and that now that I know the seller stands behind the product... I don't have any reservation giving this a solid 5-stars. It works well, it's affordable, it's lightweight, easy to use, and functions well off AAA batteries. I'm even having good luck with rechargeable AAAs. Recommended! :)___UPDATE: The seller got back to me quickly and offered to give me a small discount after returning/refunding to Amazon then rebuying the mixer. However, after lots of testing yesterday before concluding something was definitely wrong with this mixer... all of the problems went away after reconnecting everything later at a coffee shop. Then later in the evening at home, it was still performing flawlessly. And later in the night, I tried again... did everything exactly the same as before... but nothing would repeat the same failures I'd experienced. Even running it off Ni-MH rechargeable AAAs was perfectly quiet. Earlier, the Just Mixer was shutting off my USB battery pack as well. I'd assumed it was an auto--shutoff in the pack... and it was shutting of due to low power drain, but even that has stopped. The mixer works fine and I'm unable to reproduce the problems I was having before.I'm hesitant to give this more stars yet, in case the mystery problems promptly reappear. But I'll bump it up to 2-star until I'm certain the problems were just a rare fluke. If it's still working fine in a week or so, I'll update the review accordingly.___Hello,I bought this mixer a couple weeks ago. The blue one. I'm getting a lot of noise when run off batteries. At first, I thought it was because I was using rechargeable 1.2v Ni-Mh batteries... so as you recommend on your product page, I tried brand new Energizer 1.5v AAA alkaline batteries. Still there's noise. When I'm using the mixer off USB or a USB battery pack, there's no noise at all. ONLY when using AAA batteries.Is there something wrong with this mixer? Would you like to send me a replacement? Or, should I get a refund from Amazon for this?I bought this MOSTLY because it's says it runs off of AAA batteries. If it can't function without excessive noise while running off AAA batteries alkaline OR rechargeable.. it's useless to me.

I was using this portably as well as at home to amplify my mic. It worked perfectly, I only got a bit of noise if I was using my car charger to charge my device while using USB power, which is no problem as you can just use battery power (strangely enough, when the device receiving the output was used as the power source, I don’t think I got much noise).Then as I was using it on the go, the audio just cut out and it would not power on again. I would hear a little snap from the power source switching but the light would be off with no power.Update:Earlier today, I was messing around with it and noticed that it would transmit a little sound, sometimes oscillating up and down. I took out the batteries and just messed around with turning it on and off repeatedly. I noticed the area around the power cable was hotter than normal, the LEDs were also really dim. I stopped using it for a couple hours, came back, and magically it works perfectly again. I have no clue what could have caused this. My guess is that it's very sensitive to the charging power source. I was using the original charging cable, but the power source I had it plugged into had a weird output voltage.

This is the best baby mixer, without question. I've had mine for about three years, traveling with it and commuting. It works great on battery or USB power. The Aux knob has gotten a little scratchy but it's just from dust. I can wipe it back and forth a few times and it settles down.There is no noise from the mixer on either battery or USB if the USB is a separate power supply like a good phone charger. Sometimes it can get some noise if i'm powering it by one of the devices in the mix. If the battery is going out it will squeal. Having used this nearly every day for three years, I can say it is very quiet if properly powered.It's pretty durable for being plastic and feels solid yet light in weight. The blue version is handsome and the orange version is adorable. Makes me smile when I see it.The sound quality is unbelievable for being such a tiny device that can run on batteries. I have used it to mix audio from computers, cellphones, IP phones with proper adapter (that is some noisy signals!), portable music devices, gaming devices, and music equipment. Not all at once of course. It only has three stereo inputs! And these are real, analog channels so there's no processing or lag.Two of the channels have controls for gain and balance. Mostly I keep them in neutral positions but they do work when I need a little boost or to nudge a signal to one side.I'm not sure how loud this can boost a signal. I have had no trouble powering big headphones or iems. Even tried with a planar magnetic Hifiman pair and it got loud enough. I have used it with a small portable speaker but nothing really big or certainly nothing without it's own power supply. I think any type of headphones would be just fine at responsible listening levels.I can't recommend the Maker Hart Just Mixer enough. It's been my little music buddy for a while now!

All I wanted this to do was combine the outputs from my PC and a game console to one set of speakers, and it couldn't do that. There was nothing but a loud buzzing with more than one input on at a time. At best, this could be used as an input switcher. With one signal, it works ok. The volume control is smooth enough. But don't bother with batteries, they just make your speakers hiss. You have to use the USB micro plug for 5V power. Also, cheaper USB adapter plugs seem to make this thing lightly hiss. VERY cheap construction, not happy at all. Returning this POS.

I was looking for something that would play 2 diff audio sources, both digital and over bt, at the same time, with independantly controlable volume for each signal, all output to a single headset. I was also hopeful I could spilt those 2 sources, to L and R channels (L and R ears) although I wasnt expecting it to work due to the digital/wireless audio instead of analog (3.5mm jacks, wired).To my suprise, it plays both audio sources at the same time, at whatever ratio of volume you prefer AS WELL AS splits the signals to L and/or R channels at, again, whatever ratio you want (ex: 100% signal1 to L ear - 100% sig2 to R, and vice-versa -OR- you could just lower it in one ear vs the other, say 75% sig1 to L/25% sig1 to R, 100% of sig2 to both ears, so you hear both in both ears but sig1 is louder in L ear.I know there are alot of people who will say 'why do you want to listen to 2 things at the same time, that would drive me crazy' and Id agree 5yrs ago, but over the past few years, my job has required me to keep 1 ear open, thus only using one earbud in at a time, so I can hear my machinery.This has inadvertantly given me an ability to listen to two different sources of audio, but only when the signals are not equal in amplitude, in both ears. A real bonis when my GF wants to talk. I know, thats bad.Anyway, I realize its unlikely that there are many people this will help, but if you are, Im sure it was hard to fi d these details in the 'features' area of products, but rest assured this splits digital audio and controls both sources volume independantly, wonderfully, while being portable and dual powered.Heres what Im using in case you want to know:1) Transmit side:1a) Sig1: FireTV bluetooth to -> Aukey BR-C1 bluetooth rxvr1b) Sig2: Tablet bluetooth -> a diff BR-C1 rxvr.1c) Both BR-C1's connected to input 1 and 2 on reviewed product (Hart Just Mixer).2) Recieve side:2a) Toksel BT5.0 Transciever (placed in TX mode) plugged into Just Mixer 'output'2b) Toksel is linked over bt to my headset, a 700P Gen2 (PS version) which allows me to listen to PS and bluetooth at the same time, so theoretically, I could be listening to 3 sources simultaneously, however, 3 us too much.Hope this helps someone possible!!!

I have been using Just Mixer S for a few years and was pretty happy with it. My use case was to simply mix two stereo signals out, and use a headphone to monitor, and a digital recorder to record the output. I decided to upgrade to Mixer 3, mostly because I want the pan ability - I want to pan the two stereo signals slightly to each side so they can be heard better in the final output.So after using this device for an hour, I noticed a few major issues:1. No more dedicated headphone jack - it only has an output jack. Not a big deal, I have a way to work around that when I need to do recording.2. BIG DEAL: It is hard to find the right power source to power this thing!!When I was using Mixer S, it works happily with batteries or USB power through a power bank. This device, however, has a huge background noise on batteries, making that completely unusable. I tried different brand-new batteries and got the same result. When I use USB and power bank, it automatically shuts off after 10-30 seconds!! Again, this doesn't happen on Mixer S at all.I was finally able to make it work using a USB C power plugged into an power outlet. There is still some slight noise, but bearable.I am giving the low rating mostly because how picky it is with the power source - while Mixer S didn't have all these issues.

I ordered the blue. Its very nice looking and seems well built. But there are a couple of of issues. The USB power port on the side is not a good design. It would be much better if it were on the rear of the unit. But that is only a minor complaint. The big problems are five-fold.1. This unit is hella noisy. Signal to noise ratio is very low. There is a constant hiss present irrespective of cable quality, lengths, or signal quality/dBv.2. Receives LOTS of electronic interference from nearby devices. If u keep the cables short and everything away from the device, it was acceptable. Again this was observed irrespective of quality of the cable used. Additionally, if using USB power source, you MUST use a USB wall plug. If plugged into a computer there is a lot of interference (am radio seemingly as I was listening to a prayer request radio show).3. Zero headroom at line level. Headphone level input? Forget about it. Line level clips at unity gain (slider) with gain knob all the way down. Just no headroom at all. And I'm not even using this to boost the signal, just to mix at unity gain or less.4. Cross-talk between channels. Not much but it's there....which is partly due to problem 5 below...5. Even at negative infinity slider position, signal is NOT mute. Signal still leaks through.So over all:Great price & look but poorly considered placement of USB port. Terribly functional quality all around.Update:This product has deteriorated in the week that I have owned it. It is too noisy for any kind of real use. Unfortunately, even it's very nice appearance cannot make up for it's terrible performance. I am revising my 2 star review to 1 star.2nd Update:Due to EXCELLENT customer service by the seller, I have to believe that my unit may have been faulty. You can't offer excellent customer service unless your product is at least decent. Otherwise a company would spend all of it's resources putting out fires (figuratively... LOL... this thing did not catch fire). Anyway, given all of the other 4 and 5 star reviews and the seller's excellent customer service, I am revising my rating to 3 stars. For a full description of the problem I encountered and the application in which this mixer was used, read the replies to this review. If your setup is less complex (most will be) you may experience a much better end result even if my unit was not faulty.

So teaching some fitness classes outside and didnt want to rely on lugging equipment from the gym around and running a power line. My quarantine project was converting a cheap Restoration Hardware powered single speaker box into a little 2.1ch powerhouse with a 6.5" sub, 6.5" mids and 1" tweeters with much more power, clarity and oomph all running off of a 20v B&D power tool battery.I didn't really like the amplifier boards with the built in mic from a quality point of view, and none were 2.1, so it would've taken a but more work to make that work in a small 12" cube. So this seemed like the perfect option to add in my mic.Have my phone plugged in via the aux input and the mic plugged into input 1. I power the mixer with a 10k mah Samsung battery pack. And while it doesn't draw enough power to keep the pack on by its own, toy just plug in another USB cable and charge your phone at the same time. Battery pack shut off problem solved, and my phone charges as well. The mic is all battery powered so nothing plugged in.It does take some playing around to get the levels where you want them. For me, the mic gain is at 9 o'clock and mic volume at about 30%. I'm sure your mileage may vary.With music cranked everything works perfectly. No issues whatsoever. Just did a dry run of my 1hr class with no issues overall.Now with nothing playing there is some background buzz, but I'm fine with that. And I'm sure I could try a ground loop isolator, but I don't want to lessen the overall sound. Might try ferrite cores. Or I might just not do anything and spend whatever funds on finishing the cube's big brother in the picture, qbomb dual 8" sub enclosure with a pair of 8" goldwood coaxial speakers. Those goldwood's like to breath, so they needed a big box. Should be good for outdoor movies as well.

La confezione ha un design gradevole, il mixer è più piccolo di quanto mi immaginavo e ciò ne agevola la portabilità a mio parere, nella confezione c'è anche una borsetta di bassa qualità ma utile per il trasporto, il suono è ottimo e il mixer funziona esattamente come nella descrizione. I connettori sono tutti dei jack 3.5mm, il connettore di alimentazione 5V è micro-usb, questo ultimo dato non è riportato da nessuna parte.

As someone who struggles to “switch off” my work brain, I often like to play video games on my PC while listening to a podcast or music on my tablet. This lets me mix both into one set of headphones perfectly. I can even add in a phone (with the headphone mic split out - you can find the right cables on this site) so I can chat with my family as well, all with the game/music sounds completely isolated from the mic.Fantastic, works well and affordable.

This is a tiny little mixer. It's made of plastic and I guess is meant to be mobile. I have mine to mix at my computer and works very well. It doesn't come a power cord or wall wort but rather a set of batteries. I'd recommend getting a micro usb transformer and cord and just plugging it in. If you try to use batteries, it can get a buzz into the sound. I was able to remedy that with just moving around the batteries. I have not had any issue with buzzing using a power cable. I might sound harsh but this is a nice little simple mixer and for that I give it 5 stars.
