This product was surprisingly great. I was born with hydrocephalus, it causes me to have a larger-than average forehead, so wearing hats is impossible and wigs are a struggle. But I bought a new wig, and as with previous ones, this one was the generic size and slipped up a bit off my head. BUT NO MORE!! I put the amazing band on and with some adjusting and trial and error (this wig fit more comfortable if I put my natural hair in a low bun, a wig stocking cap, then the wig cap band on top.) It is a long hair wig so I lifted the back of the wig’s cap slightly to catch at the bun (the lift is hidden by the hair) and pulled it over my forehead to rest on the band for the desired look. I’m very self conscious about wigs because they slip so much in the past and just don’t look right on me and I SO DESPERATELY DO. Wow - The wig band succeeded all my expectations! I went to a bar, and besides the uncomfortable tightness of wearing a non-custom wig, it DID NOT MOVE! I was not trying to put it through a vigorous test to see if it would fly off - mind you - but I was not constantly worried if it was going to slip because I FELT secure. It was relieving! I was able to dance and drink and go about my night without being in constant worry of if my wig was moving. Do yourself a favor and get this wig band And feel secure while you rock your hair helmets!

I have some cervical spine disorder, and at first 2, and then over time, 3 cervical spinal bones have fused together, causing me a chronic neck ache. I bought this here "wig grip" to hold my wig in place, and i was stunned to discover, that coincidentally, my neck ache is gone! Yes, that's right, somehow, this band somehow supports the top of my neck or something? i do not know exactly how, but, my neck ache is gone! That might not happen for anyone else with neck aches but, it happened to me. I did not expect that, as i had read nothing about this band could help a neck ache. I am now back to order more, and also to send one to my friend who had neck surgery years ago and she also suffers chronic neck aches. I am just absolutely delighted. BOnus---It also gives my older face juuuust a wee bit of lift, like a mini-face lift, not much, but just a tiny tad smoother. Also, so far as wigs go, this DOES hold my wig in place, AND it comforts my scalp, protecting it from the rather scratchy innards of my wig. It did NOT noticeably lift my wig up, it is not visible through my wig. It also holds back all my crazy wild hair from sneaking out of the edges of my wig. By the way, I have a size 26.5 inch head. I know, like Guinness world record head, LOL, yet, this thing DID fit my head. It is snug, reeally snug, and i thought, oh no, this will give me a headache, but i was wrong, no headache. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE with a chronic neck ache, send them one of these. "MIght" help, sure won't hurt. I wear this band to bed now. JUst so thrilled, why didn't my doctor tell me a snug band around my scalp might help my neck ache? who knew?

I feel this is perfect to have your wig stay on and in place. It's way better than having the combs pull your hair out (be it your own or from the wig) or causing bald spots. I read reviews saying it does not work - well I watched the instructional video and it clearly tells you about the grain of the fabric running a certain way. Swipe your finger over the velvety fabric and you'll see that if you swipe one way it is soft - if you swipe the other way you feel it is rough and lifts up. The rough part that lifts up should face away from your face and the smoother side would be towards your nose - This causes the friction that holds your wig on. I wear a breathable mesh cap over my hair, then place the band on tight but not too tight and then put on my wig and adjust it properly and fix the hair . That's it. Maybe it's the mesh cap that makes it grip better? I don't know but I am happy with my purchase and would recommend the product.

Be sure to wear this with a wig cap. That's my advice. Do not wear it on your hair. I put it on to keep a scarf in place for a costume I had to wear at an event several times. It held the scarf on really well. However, it tore up all the hair at the base of my skull. Now I'm waiting for that to grow out.

These where great to use kept my wig in place nicely after losing all my hair from chemo

The instruction are easy to follow. Its pretty thin but I still had a hard time keeping the tabs on the side from showing. I am new to using wigs so that could be a factor. It is easy to adjust and comfortable. I did a great job keeping the wig in place and the quality is excellent.

I am so impressed with how well this works! I saw it on YouTube and had to try it out. Best purchase ever!!

I have a big head, I'm talking 25" lol I also have a lot of thick long hair and love to wear wigs! Having a big head and thick long hair that's still too thick when you braid it down, makes it hard to fit these small with sizes they have. One size DOES NOT fit all. When I get my hair as flat as possible (after I wash it), I'm able to fit a wig better, but it still eventually slides back a bit on my forehead and I'm constantly have to pull the wig forward. I decided to give this wig grip a try because it was adjustable, but I had doubts. I was also afraid it was going to make my head even bigger, too big for my wig. Maaaaaaaan, once I put this on, I didn't even have to use the clips attached to the wig and this wig stayed put!!! I still used the clips just to be on the safe side but the wig stayed in place. I still pulled my wig forward a few times, instinct lol, but I noticed as I pulled it forward, it didn't have far to go because the wig stayed in place! So if you have a large head and wigs do not stay in place for you, this definitely works!
