They can be washed but to be honest they are sort of disposable. Theres so many for the price and I don't think you could wash it more than once.

These stuff toys are only 2 to 3 inches long. They were made very well though so they might be sturdy enough for the claw machine.

Would these be big enough for a high school mum?

These are pretty tiny, but very cute and worth the money. I'm not sure what a "High school mum" is? (mom of a high school student? or a student who is a mom?) High school girls will probably think these are cute. Don't expect a cuddly stuffed toy, more like a cute little decoration. I used them as egg stuffers for preschool grandchildren. But will also make cute decorations for a teen party. You could also use them in a game.
