These bowls were as described and of good quality. They matched the plates perfectly. We used them for salad so, I am unsure how hot liquid would affect them. I would purchase again. They could be reused, and they washed up well as I prewashed them for my guests.

Too shalllow and too small for soup, but perfect for salad or pasta. Very well made and finished, NR9 has really good products. 4 stars because we cannot use them for soup.
