Decent espresso machine
Very nice looking espresso machine difficult to operate at first but then gets easier once you understand the functionality. Instructions dont help and not clear at all. Steamer is good but nozzle from espresso dispenser leaks while steaming milk. Steaming and espresso dispenser can not be used at the same time. Once you get past that it does make a good cup of coffee. So look at it like it is a retro espresso machine. Very nice and still working great.

Very beautiful but works for CRAP! Don’t waste your money.
Looks great, but doesn’t work. Took 30 min. to warm up & for the on light to stop blinking. Espresso starts flowing & doesn't turn off until you flip the switch on standby. So no quality control on shots of espresso. Steamer doesn’t work. It just adds water to the milk therefore diluting it. Neither the espresso nor the milk was even warm. And when cleaning out the basket it was filled with water & espresso grounds just & looked like mud. I’ve tried 5 times to make a 2 shot latte & have had the same awful results. Sending it back. Don’t buy this machine unless you like lukewarm espresso with watered down milk! I had to give it 1 star because it wouldn’t let me submit my review with no stars. It deserves NO STARS!

Good machine for express cofee
It heats up quickly and maintains a constant pressure, which allows you to extract an espresso with a thick cream and intense flavor. The milk vaporizer works wonderfully, producing soft foam for cappuccinos and lattes.

It's not bad!
Generally speaking, it's fine. It does what you want it to do in a timely enough manner and it does, at the very least, a halfway decent job. The smell of coffee in the morning is nice and it doesn't smoke up and get overwhelmed like some other really affordable other machines. It's easy to use because it's a very standard operating design so it shouldn't give the average coffee-drinker any trouble to figure out. It's also relatively easy to clean; however, the "stainless steel" parts are very prone to collecting finger prints and other non-invasive scuffing. So if you care enough and have a cleaning solution designed for stainless steel, it shouldn't be problem. And also, it's durability (in the context of moving homes and living in a box that got tossed around) is surprisingly good. It didn't crack, shatter, fall apart, etc. It's still very much in one piece and works. That doesn't mean it'll survive a fall off a counter; I didn't test that... Yet.Overall, is this fanciest or most advanced coffee machine I've ever owned or ever will own? No. But if you're sick of having a sad little coffee maker from Walmart that cost $30 because you were on a college kid budget, this is a nice upgrade. And it's cute!!

Very cute! Well made.
We use this all the time and set up a little coffee bar in our kitchen it is super cute and works well. Very fun to make and try all kinds of new coffee drinks! Super easy to use my 12 and 15 year old both use it as well.

Mid tier
The media could not be loaded. This machine will push water through ground coffee beans. If you are able to achieve an appropriate espresso grind it will make a drinkable quality espresso through the provided portafilter. The used model I purchased does not have a functioning pressure gauge. There is also a functionality issue with the steam wand, when I turn it on water comes out of the group head, so I do not use that. I have purchased a nicer portafilter basket and handle, along some other small accessories for an additional $45 dollars, now it makes dare I say decent espresso. I am using a hario hand grinder which I am pretty happy with for adjusting roast to roast, it does take dialing in individual batches to get good flow with the indeterminate amount of pressure. These machines should not cost more than $100 they are not particularly good in fit/finish, it’s almost entirely plastic but it is reliable to an extent. Just remember- these are not really serviceable, if it dies tomorrow I am not investing the time/$$$ into fixing it, I bought this because it was a step above the bottom tier home espresso machine which I got for less than half its current price. If you want to make good home espresso it may be worth taking the additional time to save for something nicer.

I really wanted to like this thing.
I really did. It's stylish. I like the controls. The steam wand is second to none and it froths a cup of milk like nobody's business.I just don't get good extraction with it. I've tried different beans, different grinds, different tamps. I get my shot of coffee, and it's always less than 20-25 seconds, so there's good water flow, but it tastes weak and watery, with little to no crema. So either the pressure gauge is off (which doesn't seem to be the case), or the temperature is. Sometimes, it almost sounds like the pump is cavitating (i.e., sucked in some air), but I've never run it low on water. And the coffee definitely could be hotter when it's done.Maybe I got a bad one. I don't know. It does have its pros, but if it doesn't serve its main purpose well, what can you really say?Update: 2 months after purchase and I threw it away. Thing just didn't work the way an espresso maker should and I couldn't get good extraction with it. Coffee tasted like dirty dish water.Whether it was temp or pressure or what, I don't know. Save your money and get something else.

Once you get this little beast setup (be gentle and patient, it’s not a $2,000 slayer.), this little espresso machine is my new favorite thing for $100.It seems Galanz did their homework here. They made a plastic machine (who cares, it’s dope), that has higher end hardware inside. It’s clear by the size of the port a filter that this machine is capable of full pressure espresso. The milk frother works beautifully with some patience as well. I’m able to pour latte art just fine. Super dry caps, leave the metal cylinder on, smooth, wet lattes, slide it right off.Brilliant @Galanz. My second product from you (and in this awesome color.). Happy once again. 100%Update: added some photos. :)
