Is this product okay to use on the face or would it be too think/clog the pores?

I have both eczema and facial seborrheic dermatitis caused by stress and allergies. My face is sensitive to most soaps, makeup and even the chlorine in tap water. I read a blog about someone’s personal journey with these same skin conditions. He said the only thing he could use on his face was Johnson’s baby wash and Aveeno Eczema moisturizing lotion. I knew about the baby wash but have always worried because Every moisturizer I tried (including Cetaphil) caused a reaction. Aveeno Eczema moisturizer changed my life. I have no reaction or clogging. It’s amazing.

Is there a seal on the lotion when you first receive it? Like do you have to take off the lid and take off the foil/plastic seal when you first receive it?

I believe that there was a seal . All you have to do is twist off the lid and remove the seal and then put back the lid.

Does it have any anti-itch agents in it?

I have no idea. But I don't itch after applying.

How does this compare with aveeno eczema active naturals therapy moisturizing cream in the tube?

excellent, the jar is much easier to use for applying the cream to necessary spots on the body.
