I found this replacement keyless drill chuck for a reasonable price. I ordered it to replace the chuck on a used hammer drill I got from a friend. Ultimately, the older drill wanted to keep the old chuck on and despite my best efforts and considerable force, I could not remove it! So I had to return this product which would have allowed me several more years use from a great and still working hammer drill!

Nice Beefy looking feeling replacement chuck! I originally bought to replace a broken chuck on my M18 Fuel Hammer Drill. However the mounting threads on that drill are 9/16-18. This chucks mounting threads are 1/2-20. So this didn't work on Hammer drill. I was going to return but upon inspection of my M18 standard drill/driver the originally chuck was looking old and starting to stick. I rarely use it as mentioned I usually reach for the Fuel hammer drill 1st. However I installed this chuck on the standard drill and fit like a glove. Looks real nice too! I only gave 4 stars as I have not put it under working load conditions as of yet. However I have no doubt it will hold up better than the original chuck. Now maybe I will use the standard drill more lol!

The original broke. OEM was too expensive. I bought this one for much less and it fits and works perfectly. Would buy again.
