I love how small these are, I barely notice them on my keychain. Their compactness allows me to carry them at all times, which has helped me to completely stop biting my nails! They are also sturdy enough to cut my big toe nail with no problem, however I'm not sure how well they would fare for men's toes. The only thing I dislike about them is how the locking mechanism comes undone by itself sometimes.Update: 3 years later and theyre still in great shape!

These work really well. They are small enough to use on a child's nails but strong enough to cut through an adult's. Since these are so small, their footprint is minimal in one's EDC kit or on a keyring. The file is also very effective. These are easy to use and the latching mechanism holds well to ensure these don't spring open in your pocket. These are very efficient and thoughtfully designed. These would make great stocking stuffers. I also appreciate the minimalist packaging.

Very handy and delivers a clean cut, but the retention mechanism that keeps them folded up is easy to release inadvertently and the clippers pop open all of the time. My only other complaint is that to close the clippers, you have to slide the retention button back first. This is a bit awkward. Furthermore, it feels like it would be easy to break the clippers if you don't slide the retention button back before closing.

Leaves a frayed nail edge, not a clean cut. Also, it frequently comes open on the keychain.

I was looking for compact light weight nail cutters for backpacking. These are excellent. Folded they are flat and light weight taking up virtually very little room. I was a little leery on the price thinking they would also be cheap. However, they cut excellent, are very sharp and far and above better than my current standard cutters. Very pleased with these and recommend. I read a few reviews that stated they open up automatically. I found that is the case if they are not closed properly. A double check when closing to make sure the switch clears the slot and they stay closed.

I clip stray threads and cable ties, manage hangnails, and even occasionally my nails while on the go *all the time*, so I need a nail clippers on my keychain as part of my everyday carry.After breaking a succession of drug store nail clippers, I bought this looking for 1) a sturdy nail clipper, 2) which fits well a on a keychain, and 3) DOESN'T COME OPEN IN MY POCKET. (Because seriously, I've either cut my hand, the inside of my pocket, or lost the clippers as a result of it coming apart in my pocket more times than I can now count.)The verdict on this one:1) Build quality feels fine; the clipper clips well, with a satisfying 'click'.2) It's the tiniest clipper I've ever owned. Fits very well in with all my keys.3) The little bit of metal which serves as the latch to keep this clipper closed is *tiny* and simply doesn't work. Pretty much every time I pull out my keys—there the clipper is, gaping open. So this one goes in the medicine cabinet for use around the house and I'm on to the next one.I'd ignored the occasional comments in the other reviews that this came open in the pocket, hoping that I'd have a better experience, and that was a mistake.

I bought this and another brand of folding keychain clipper at the same time. This one *works* much better as a fingernail clipper, it's smaller, lighter, and the file is excellent. Unfortunately, the sliding catch on this one does NOT keep it latched in your pocket, so it always opens up, snagging on things, tangling your keys, or worse yet, cutting and scratching things in your pocket with the now-exposed blade edges. I've even sliced my finger on the edge when trying to grab my keys.If this actually stayed latched closed, it would be an excellent product. As it is, you can only really keep it in a desk drawer - it's not suited for pocket carry.

J’utilise cet article pour l’avoir toujours à portée de main. Ultra portable, je trouve le système de blocage pratique. Il coupe les ongles de manière efficace. Le seul inconvénient serait que le système de blocage pourrait être encore mieux adapté. En effet il se débloque des fois dans la poche.
