Invest in a better quality item, especially when you are trying to shut off the water. Leaked around the joints, extra plastic from moulding had to be cut away and just didn't work very well. Horrific cost to but a proper one of these but worth every penny to make installation easier and no leaks.

Rubbish. Don’t waste your money. It’s leeking from the top of the tap through rubber seal after 2min.

leaking not at the 2 joints but at the tap itself, unrepairable and hassle to return. dont buy

Couldn’t ask for any more. The product will be used to protect irrigation pipes against frost in winter.

This ball valve does not have the same O Ring seal as many other types of MDPE fittings. It comes supplied with a plastic wedge seal which you have to compress with the outer housing. In my mind if the outer housing backs off then the seal will be compromised.
