These were perfect for hanging small Christmas lights.

We always used these to put up Xmas lights. No problems. We also found they are sturdy enough to put up a 25 foot telephone wire along the wall up by the ceiling. No problems with the hooks coming loose like some said. We followed directions i.e. cleaned the wall with alcohol, positioned the tabs carefully and let them 'cure' one hour before hanging the wire. We even had to pull on the wire some to get it to reach and we had to cut some corners so the wire is really hanging just by the hooks. There's still no sign of them coming loose. The hook is just a hook so position them right, they will not actually clip onto the cord like the other kind. Where the line needed to run straight up or down we simply have the cord hanging from the hook at the top with no fasteners at all along the vertical and there is still no sign that the hook wants to pull away from the wall. Good sturdy adhesive. Nice white color. Simple to put up. As for size, I think for Xmas lights, phone wire or light speaker wire etc. they are wonderful. They would probably work for regular electric cords or extension cords or maybe even plain USB. They are not going to work though for thick or round cords like surge suppressors, RJ-45, coaxial or anything like that. Command does make a slightly more expensive but bigger and sturdier product that does work for that though. Search cord clips instead of decorating clips.

This is the best product available to hang a string of lights around a window. It provides a nice and clean way to decorate without making any permanent damage to the window trim. These clips appear to be strong enough to handle some moderate tension from wires so you can stretch them a little and position the way you like. They are also small enough so from a distance you don't really notice them. Overall I like and recommend this product. When using it, you may want to snip off some injection molding connectors but that is not a problem.

These would not stick to my vinyl windows on the inside to hang Christmas lights. I called and was told they don’t stick to vinyl. I said it should state that then and was told it was on the package. I told them I had the package in my hand it it did not state that anywhere on the package or inside. They said they couldn’t verify that since they didn’t have a package in front of them, like I was lying. They said to try the outdoor clips that they "might" work better. Not...

...by one of the list sites. Did not hold my garland up for very long before all of the hooks came off. (And broke the poinsettia below it). Would not recommend for garland.

These little clips were perfect for what we needed. I bought my daughter some string lights for her room and we used these clips to run the lights across the ceiling. They were super easy to remove and readjust and have not come off one time. It has been over a month since we purchased them. I would definitely buy again if I needed them but we still have a lot left from the last order. I didn't need to use as many as i thought we would.
