Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover Refill 170 ozn and Odor Remover Refill, 2/170 oz

I have tried several different enzyme cleaners. thought I'd give this one a try since it was less expensive than others. I got the original scent. to me it smells like laundry soap/cleaner. not bad but if you are spraying a lot, can be overwhelming. I do not think this works for deterring puppies from using the area, but it does get rid of odors. I recently moved into a house and the previous owners had multiple dogs and cats, and the house smelled AWFUL. I deep cleaned and paid $700 to have the carpets professionally done. still could smell the cat/dog smell. To the point anytime I vacuumed it was like it renewed the smell. I got 2 small breed puppies, and do not allow them on the carpet area yet, but wanted something to use to clean the hardwood. I use this with my crosswave and it works wonderfully. if I don't use an enzyme cleaner, all I can smell is wet dog smell after I mop. after reading the instructions, I figured I'd test to see if it worked on the carpet. I didn't have high hopes since these are very old smells. I sprayed it until the carpet was wet, and let it air dry. it noticeably got rid of a lot of the wet dog/cat pee smell. now it didn't get rid of the smell completely, but I doubt anything can do that. but for not running a carpet cleaner and just spraying the carpet and air drying, it did a heck of a job at getting rid of the majority of the smells. I've did that twice now and I can definitely smell a difference. it's not a complete fix, but helped more than I thought it would. I will definitely get more and would reccomend if you are purely just buying it for the odor removal part. I can't say how it does on stains, but it definitely helps with odor if nothing else.

This stuff is so great! I foster kittens & we recently had 14 cats in our home & a lot of litter boxes! But our house never smelled (believe me, my mom would tell me if it did! 😂) and Nature’s Miracle is the reason why! They have several different products, but honestly I feel like they’re all kind of the same, but they’re also all equally effective. In the store a tiny singular spray bottle is $15 where I live, so this is a HUGE VALUE!! I just put it into several spray bottles & keep one next to every litter box. Let me tell you the tricks! My favorite litter boxes are the top entry ones, but the cats don’t like them as much. Plus, I get the kittens as neonates, so the little guys can’t get in & out of the top entry ones. Therefore, I have various boxes. I scoop frequently when I have e lots of kittens, when it’s just my own few cats I scoop once a day. Then I spray the Nature’s Miracle & leave the lid of the top entry boxes open for about an hour to air out. Once a month (more often when I have a lot of kittens), I dump it all & clean the box with dish soap & a hose. Don’t use bleach or anything else caustic as cats are very sensitive to smells. Then I solarize the box. That’s fancy speak for leaving the box in the sun for a few hours. You’d be amazed how effective that is for eliminating any lingering odors! I’ve heard that stainless steel litter boxes are better since they’re not porous odors apparently don’t cling to them the way it does with plastic. However, they’re far more expensive so I haven’t actually tried them. I also use the Nature’s Miracle on any kitty bathroom accidents. It’s very important because once a cat has an accident, the smell of their waste actually causes them to return to the same spot & also lure your other cats to the same place! This stuff is an enzymatic cleaner, so it actually breaks down the waste & odor without just covering up the smell with perfumes. I also recommend their Nature’s Miracle Litter Box Scrubbing Wipes. If you’re having litter box issues, look into Dr. Elsey’s cat litter and/or litter box attractant. The litter is very soft on the babies’ paws, which makes a difference for some cats. And the attractant really works! You just sprinkle a tiny bit into any cat litter. I also love the World’s Best cat litter. It lasts FAR longer than the clay stuff! Plus, kittens who are litter box training shouldn’t use clay litter because they can ingest it & it expands in their tummies if ingested. Every cat is different, just have patience with your furry friend. I know it can be frustrating! Ok I might’ve gone overboard here, but I really hope this review helps even one person!!

I love this for cleaning up dog mess. It smells great and leaves no urine Oder behind. Definitely worth the money to keep some on hand.

The product itself really does smell as bad as people say…but having said that it also WORKS for dog urine. I thoroughly saturate the stain or carpet -down through the rug pad - and let it sit for a while (8 hours or overnight). In my case it is light cream colored wall to wall carpeting and I have to retreat to another room with a fan going towards it. It still smells the next day (less) but once it dries odors disappear and after a few days there are no awful odors or stains from pee or this product. I also use it on my dog “wrap” -required when he’s left alone :( Same routine; saturate completely, let sit overnight, rinse repeatedly, then soak in detergent & water and let sit for another day, rinse repeatedly and air dry outdoors in the sun. What a tedious process! but my dog is old and I still love him. I give it 5 stars for working but deducted 1 for the odor (tho I imagine the manufacturer would change it if they could).
