Original AN-MR21GA Magic Remote with Voice LG

I would give this 10 stars if I could! We purchased 4 different generic remotes and the volume and mute button would not work with our Sonos Sound Bar on our LG Smart TV. (To clarify, they would work on the LG TV channels, but the volume and mute button would not work on apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Disney, etc) We received this remote - and VOILA - it works! We are sooooo excited to finally have a remote that works just as good as the original. Now my husband and I each have our own remote at our side of the couch and we have another one for the table so we can control the TV at the table. Don't hesitate to buy. Yeah, we had to pay shipping charges - but it was soooo worth it! We are very happy with our purchase and we highly recommend this product.

Works on LG tv and as universal remote with accessories like the sound bar.That might should basic, but I originally bought a knock off for a few less dollars and it did not work as a universal remote.

It’s insane for LG to sell a TV with a crappy remote but they did it. This remote is worth the money. It took all but two seconds to link it to the TV and both remotes work. One does not override the other, so it’s nice to have two remotes . It’s so much easier to control the TV, getting to the apps. I have not used the voice control very much. It does work with Alexa but I’m having trouble getting Alexa and the TV to communicate, but that’s not the remotes fault. I also bought the rubber cover for the remote which I think is sold by a different seller and it is also a must-have. It was like nine dollars but it makes the remote so much easier to grab and use. I highly recommend this remote even though it looks strange it does everything you wanted to do and it’s so much easier to get the TV to use all the functions with this remote and not the remote that came with the TV. Also, I read some reviews that said there’s no fast forward or rewind button on this remote. That is not true. There is a piece that surrounds the middle button that you press left or right to either fast forward or rewind it just doesn’t have a symbol on the remote for you to look at but it does work.

Just had to buy a new LG TV to replace my old LG TV killed in a lightening strike. It was only just over a year old (2020 model) but it came with a Magic remote. The new 43UP7000PUA I bought comes only with a standard remote. It is not near as usable and poorly designed with small buttons. So I looked to see if a Magic remote would work with it. The one I previously had would not register (though it did work for most functions, just not mouse pointer and scroll, plus it constantly popped up a notice that it was incompatible with the TV).This new magic remote does indeed work with this model TV (43UP7000PUA) all though it is not mentioned in the list of compatible models. It registered immediately and I must say it works better than the previous magic remote on the now toasted TV of mine.So if you are looking for a Magic remote for this model LG TV this is the one.Edit: The remote just quit working two days after I received it. It stopped right between entering the first 2 digits of a channel and then nothing I tried could get any response from it. I did every trouble shooting step I could find on the 'net to no avail. So it is being returned. I only dropped my review to 4 stars because this might just be a fluke and the replacement magic remote may work flawlessly. Time will tell.

I purchased this remote to upgrade the oem remote that came with my TV. After receiving the new remote I quickly realized that I ordered the wrong one. I contacted the seller directly and they quickly sent me the proper replacement remote that works for my TV. They even sent a self addressed bubble envelope to send back the initial remote. The quality of the remote is much better than the oem remote and works flawless. The seller definitely went above and beyond. If I ever need remotes In The future they will be my my only choice.

The media could not be loaded. This remote is Not a magic remote. It does NOT have the NFC logo at the bottom of the remote. On top of that the voice feature don’t work. The tv keeps telling me that is is not connected yet the other buttons work. I keep disconnecting and reconnecting and it still isn’t working. It is going back. This price is too EXPENSIVE to not have those features. What a rip off. I do not recommend, this expensive piece of crap is going back tomorrow. :(

This remote works flawlessly with my 75UP7300PUC. It paired to the TV as soon as I put batteries in, no additional fuss needed.The cursor threw me off at first but it disappears if you press any directional pad. Reminds of the original Wiimote.Remote has a sturdier and more polished feel than the stock remote. Also great to now have voice search and Alexa!
