CocoBlack Naturals Lanolin Moisturizer Ghana for Coily Kinky Hair, 4.8 fl oz

Used in combination with the coco black gel for styling, it broke the gel cast like it was meant to do. Not too heavy or greasy. I reapply in a few days when hair needs moisture. Pleasant scent, not too strong. Did not get any flaking with the combo.

I honestly don’t think I can rave enough about this hair oil. Not only does it smell amazing but it to my dry relaxed hair and it made it soo soft!! 10/10 would buy again. The only thing is it comes out super fast but again overall a great buy and an amazing product.

This lanolin oil makes my hair feel wonderful. Especially when I add the Coco Black leave-in conditioner before applying. The oil and the leave-in smell so good too.

Updated 2/12/2025 Don't bother!! Over the years my assessment of this product went from a 5 to a 0. Extremely satisfied to extremely disappointed. The quality has drastically changed. My last order, the product was thin like water and did nothing for my hair. In its thicker version, especially the original, it would make my curl pattern emerge on its own. I won't be purchasing this again. They have clearly began sacrificing quality for quantity. I'm very disappointed. This WAS a great product. Today, it's a waste of money. ---------------------- I have been using this product and the CoCoBlack Naturals brand for about two years but it's my first time purchasing it here. It was watered down and fragranced, definitely not the same quality as when I've purchased it directly from Coco Black Naturals and had it shipped from Ghana. I would pass on this one. But will continue to use it. The product itself helps your hair retain moisture and gives your natural curl pattern a much needed boost. This wasn't bad, but since I know it can be better..... that's my review. I love all their products.

The oil is light and smells good, however the bottle was only half full on arrival. At first I thought maybe it spilled but it was securely wrapped in plastic and the box had no evidence of a leak.

I have never used it on my hair but it keeps my human hot wigs looking moisturized. Great product. A nickel size in my palm is all it takes for the week.
