Perfect for what I wanted
I wanted a sectional for the TV/game room so my boys and I could chill there, watch movies, Playstation, etc and even sleep if we wanted to. I ordered the L shape and got an extra ottoman so I could put 3 across for our legs. It was smaller than i expected. It was perfect for the boys, but I'm 6'2" so my feet were nagging off at the calf. They are comfortable, the material is smooth so nothing catches and makes pulls in the fabric. Definitely not a sink into it sofa which is what I like, but very comfortable and doesn't get hot on a hot day. I put it together in about an hour and a half. Instructions are IKEA easy. Only looked at them for one piece. I liked to do much that I ordered another one with an extra ottoman so I have a 3x3 sofa facing the TV, and a 3x1 facing the gaming table that I put back to back. Didn't even look at the instructions for the second one and had it together in about 30 minutes. It's a sleek modern look, and when the boys have friend over they can separate them for individual seating and even carry them to other rooms. They are very light. As far as durability, with the bracket design of staying the backs, sides I can see how they are at risk of the boys get rambunctious, but they have survived the boys laying on the backrest and a lot of horseplay. I think they will survive. I do wish they added more brackets that connect the ottomans together. There are 2 per piece assumably to connect the ottomans to the main sofa. There are 2 holes on each of the 4 sides of the ottomans, so it would be nice to use them all for connecting the ottomans together. Regardless, with the 3x3 and one bracket between each ottoman it is stable and doesn't shift with the inevitable run and jump for the dramatic plop. The legs are black plastic so if you push down while moving them on the floor they may leave marks. I have porous gray tile floors. Push from the side and no marks. There were no clues as to how hard to screw in the legs so it was a bit sketchy... didn't want them to break. But I figured out to tighten with one hand as far as you can then go 2 more turns with 2 hands and straighten then up. In really happy with this sofa.

Absolutely worth every dollar!!!
This has been a wonderful experience ordering this couch set. The company have been responsive, super fast shipment and the product is worth every dollar! The unit is perfect for small spaces or a basement set it. My problem when I was looking to furnish the basement was the width and sharp corner of the staircase. However when I found this product and the fact that it came in pieces was exactly what I needed to solve my problem. The instructions were crystal clear and it only took me less than 1 hour to assemble by myself. All tools were provided. I went with the Bluish gray color and it's perfect. The comfort, structure and material does not look nor feel "cheap". The ottoman has enough usable space. I'm so pleased with this economical couch set. Lastly I love the fact I can always add a unit to it if I decide to.

It's an ok sofa so read more below
It took 3 deliveries to get six sections. We got the 3 unit couch with 2 ottomans sizing it to fit our space. We added one more "armless chair" section to make it a total of 6 cube sections. This really did fit perfect and the ability to move the ottomans makes it very versatile. It is easy to assemble and we now have a more screwdrivers than we know what to do with! The sections link together nicely but not perfectly. Nothing that a few decorative pillows and throws won't fix which we intended on using anyway. If you are OCD on how things trim together this type of furniture may not be for you, but if you can deal; this modular furniture is a great option. I don't see this lasting a lifetime but it's far better than Ikea cheap-o stuff. Comfort is OK, it's stiff but I expect over time that is a good thing. Again, a few pillows and comphy throw and it will be awesome on the comfort scale. I would recommend this for limited budgets and space. The storage is a very nice feature and a must have for the misses. It's really a great addition to our space and I would recommend buying for the right reasons. I like the couch!

Easy to assemble, comfortable even for small spaces
I was skeptical that I would like this modular couch when I ordered it. It arrived in less than a week, and we were thrilled we were able to get the boxes through a narrow basement door 29" wide, with a tight corner. Set up was as easy as it looks in the video. I thought the comfort level would not be as good as a full size couch, but surprisingly it is very comfy! We ordered an extra ottoman to have the look shown in the photo. If you are trying to find great seating for smaller spaces or particularly with narrow doorways and hallways, this is a great solution. Extra 5-stars to the product designers because of the detailed & thoughtful design. So glad we purchased this.

Disappointing, especially for the price
Well I really messed up with this purchase. I thought I read the reviews and measurements well. This arrived quickly— in two shipments as others mention but only a few days apart. The material is nice but TBD if it would wear well. I was drawn to the modular concept and storage. It was easy enough to put together, or so I thought. The holes to connect the seat bases are not square and the metal pieces to affix the seat backs/arms are crookedly welded. Because of this, we cannot get the pieces to line up without significant gaps. We have rotated each base and back and the best we got it still leaves 1 1/4” gap between the back pieces. Because the back is visible in our space, it looks pretty terrible and makes it more uncomfortable. I am 5’7” and when I sit straight up the back cushion hits just below my shoulder blade. Even my 3yo looks too large to comfortably lay on the sofa. The extra ottoman makes it more tolerable to spread out on, but I can’t bring myself to spend any more money for another ottoman, I already feel like I paid too much— this feels more like a $300 sofa. I’ve contacted customer support four times asking for assistance or replacement parts so it can fit together properly. After receiving a generic reply with a video of how to put it together, I requested to return it. They offered a $150 refund and closed my return request. I again requested a return and they closed the request stating a refund was issued. I’m not sure how they decided on $150 as that’s not even enough to order another base to see if that fixes the connection issue, and there’s no way I could turn around and sell this for what I paid. Proceed with caution.

So great we bought more
We started with a couch and a couple of chairs from HONBAY for our living room, but then decided to redo another room and thought - wait - wouldn't a loveseat and ottoman be good there? Oh, and what if we redid the living room like this? We bought this sectional with chaise and used some of the parts there, and some of the parts in the living room. It's awesome - we can rearrange our space and make the furniture match. Having the added storage is great, and it's held all up just fine to our two kids and 50lb dog over the last year or so. Highly recommend these, even though they're not the cheapest, the storage and modularity is worth it!

Great for small spaces, not for big bums
Easy to assemble by myself, we needed a small couch for our tiny apartment. It’s great for small spaces but the back cushions are so thick you don’t have much room to actually sit on the seat. I find that I remove the back cushion most of the time to have space to prop my legs under me. It is very small, just keep that in mind. We ended up ordering an extra seat module to add in because there was still enough room in our small living room. Otherwise very pretty and not super firm! Just would be nice to have more seat space.

Still like it after a year
I've had this modular sofa for a year now (in the bluish color) and I still like it. It's comfy for sitting or napping on, great for storing games, blankets, etc, and looks nice in my small-ish living space. I move the pieces around but generally have the two chair together with one ottoman to stretch legs on and the other against another wall for more seating. When I want to nap, or have an overnight guest, I move that ottoman over to make the "bed" longer. I'm short (5'2) so prefer it with the legs off but even with the legs on, this sofa may be too small for a very tall person. Also note: pet's claws may snag the upholstery.
