I’ve noticed that other people have complained about the chemical and have suffered from sneezing and coughing, it’s good to remember this isn’t exactly lemonade it’s a pest control product that specifically states on the bottle what is inside You’re supposed to be careful when using it My personal experience has been brilliant I got a bottle in 2024 and it lasted until summer 2026, we had a whole year spider free inside thanks to this product, prevention was the main goal and it definitely delivered It is an effective spider killer but it can depend on the size and specific type of spider so I don’t risk it because if it does not kill instantly I’d just be inflicting needless pain on it Prevention wise, this will keep spiders out of your rooms for most of the year Used on the outside it worked for about 3-5 months before spiders slowly began returning but that in itself is perfect One bottle lasted us a long time I’m writing this review having just brought my second bottle

Excellent spider killer and deterrent! I have a massive fear of spiders, which hugely impacts on my life. I hate killing anything, but sometimes my own sense of security prevails and they just have to go. I'd already bought a 1 litre spray, so I ordered a funnel and then decanted some of this into the smaller bottle every week or so. Our front and back garden both have a vast amount of spiders, particularly the noble false widow with the symbol on it's back. I have severe anxiety leaving the house, especially of an evening over the Summer months when they're most active. I've virtually given up on using the back garden altogether, and merely 'pass' through the front lol! Theyre constantly building webs and hanging off the little roof over the front door, and all across the garden. I literally feel like I'm in a heist movie trying to navigate the invisible laser beams, just trying to get to the end of the path unscathed! Then I came home late one night and as I got to the front door and looked down, far too many eyes were staring back at me! Sat on my chest was a huge spider with long legs. I screamed and managed to knock it off, but was left traumatised. Then, a week later, I woke up one night at about 4am and immediately spotted something on the wall. As my blurry eyes cleared, I saw another huge spider, in that menacing 'ready to pounce' stance. I had to vacate the bedroom and slept on the sofa for two weeks, and I'm still sleeping with the light on now! Something had to be done! I've already got mosquito nets up at all the windows, and I won't leave any outside doors open, so unfortunately I knew passive efforts just weren't working I bought the 1 litre spray first, and then ordered the 5 litre container. The first two nights, I noticed more spiders around after spraying. I think it was as they were being driven out of the woodwork (literally!), and from cracks and crevices etc. Although, it states it lasts up to 12 weeks, I kept spraying daily. It takes about 90 seconds to kill them, not immediate, but if they've been sprayed they will die. You don't want to stand underneath them as they will start dropping to the floor. After a week of regular spraying, the spiders had gone, and the webs had stopped appearing. In about 6 weeks, I think I've only seen 2 spiders passing through, out there. I have been doing it every few days still, because for me, it's worth it. The bottle does state it should last up to 12 weeks, but I just don't want to risk it. The spray itself is clear and easy to use. It doesn't feel sticky and I've not had any leakage. I use a mouth covering when spraying as it was making my throat sore, but it's been fine since. For me, this has been life changing. I know I have a phobia and it's my issue, but unfortunately it's not easy to get help without going private. I was absolutely terrified every time I had to leave the house and it was making life miserable. I've finally started to feel a bit more confident and my anxiety has eased a little. It's not a 'cure' obviously, but not being confronted with them every day has really helped. Although, this isn't cheap, you can save money by buying in bulk and getting 5 litres. I've been going through a litre a week, but I have been using it far more than the container states. Once I'm feeling braver, I'll try leaving longer periods in between and see if it's still as effective. I'll update my review if anything changes. I am so grateful to have tried this, and that it worked so well. I rarely see spiders or webs out the front now. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a spider phobia, or who needs to deal with an infestation quickly. It far exceeded my expectations, 5 stars!

As described, it does work well, sprayed my back and front garden, no spider webbs for the last 2 weeks. Please be aware on the toxicity of this chemical as I had sneezing during spray and got a rash on my hand. It was much worse in the day one, and this is still visible after2 weeks. Would suggest to use propper PPE when using this stuff!

Good product, best part is that it does not leave bad odour. And works for almost all small insects and spiders

Not effective as a spider killer in comparison to another brand I used in the past. Sprayed a spider about the size of a 50p coin about a total 50 times and it was a very long agonising death for the spider and it kept frantically trying to climb and move. Would not really recommend for those with arachnophobia since if your aim is to just have a spider dead in seconds well it won’t do that and I had to wait around 5+ minutes to make sure it had actually died. Maybe it was the species (it did look like a garden spider) who knows, have only tried it on one spider so far. 3 stars because it did kill the spider, eventually

Every 5-8 weeks we spray the perimeter of every single room in the house, and around all the doors and windows outside and in. It works, in that it does not stop them coming in, but when we do see them, they are either dead (or on the way). Once we spray, we leave the house for a few hours just to let it settle (not that it is strong smelling or toxic, but it's just a routine we've adopted). It has not stained the carpets or rugs; and for anyone with a phobia (like us!), it offers great peace of mind. Highly recommend (just wish it was cheaper).

Im gonna start by saying I am terrified of spiders and im forever calling my neighbour to come and get rid of them for me. I've named her the spider hunter. 🤣🤣 she has no fear of these things. Anyway.... We spotted some massive beasty very juicy spiders and some rather large ones with gross long skinny legs in our building on the stairways. They were constantly making their beautiful webs across the stairs for us to walk through every morning. Sometimes sitting in the middle of it to suprise us at the last second, just the thought that the spider was crawling on me was enough to freak me out and do the "spider dance" Anyway... back to the story... The spider hunter and I went for a walk down the 2 sets of stairs and we sprayed so many spiders. Some took more sprays than others. It did the job with the millions of babies that came running at me for spraying their muma and the nest. The babies only took 1 spray. The adults took a few more sprays. They mostly just came down (like a scene out of spiderman when he does the mj kiss) and they landed on the floor. We squished them straight away but we did leave a few of them with just the spray and it did send them to the land of spider heaven or hell depending on how much they tortured me. It took about 10 mins but defo did the job. After using the whole bottle in 1 morning, "removing" so many spiders and hopefully ending that spider nest full of babies we have not seen any new ones in our stairway. I must say I did take the nozzle from a different bottle that had more of a jet spray to get to some of the higher spots and it worked beautifully. So im going to say yes this stuff works. It is incredible stuff and my spider hunter best friend / neighbour can relax a bit more now that I won't be calling her or video calling as much when I see a massive aragog looking beast of a spider running at me screaming something about me ruining the webs or that im in their space or that I destroyed the next generation of my worst nightmares. So if you dislike spiders as much as I do this is the best one I have used to get rid of the tenants with 8 scary hairy legs and huge butt's with white stripes and make webs in the most inappropriate places that dont pay rent so they dont get to stay.

Being a utter phobe and utterly terrified of them and not had this issue of an excess amount since being in a new home, I would recommend this product so far. It does not kill them instantly as stated but I have noted a reduction and I touching a lot of wood as I say that. It also.kills other insects such as the annoying small flies so embrace constant housework as they are 'food'. I'm sincerely hoping it does control the problem as I can't live in a house with this issue which would be a shame but I would have to do it as my phobia is extreme. It's not cheap but if it works it's worth it. The 5 litre container is better value. I've sprayed it absolutely everywhere and it doesn't seem to stain with exception of windows so just be aware to wipe it off after frames have been sprayed. It's does smell a bit and be careful spraying as it makes your eyes very sore if wind blowing the wrong way outside!.
