Purchased from Amazon resale " as New," and yes it was as new in original packaging. It looked as if it had never been opened. Great prices on Amazon resale products, worth a look before paying full price.

Decent value, decent all rounder. Recommended by The Meerkat
This is my second one of these JCB Circular Saw. I still have the warranty replacement but the safety guard has broken on it. It's decent value for what it costs as a bare unit. It's light, easy to use and versatile. You can get other blades (Trent) to fit for finer cuts. For 18v its got decent power for small jobs or board cutting. 3 yes warranty for DIY and 1 Yr for trades. Not unreasonable, although I'd prefer to see the 5 Yr reinstated all round for the DIYr

Real waste of money
The saw burnt out motor after very minimal use , I have jigsaw the shaft that holds the blade broke on first use, it as replaced after a lot of back and forth for 7 months, the grinder I have, the switch mechanism broke within 4 months again vey minimal diy use, I replaced as couldn’t go through the replacement process, I purchased a bare unit.I had multi tool where the gearbox shattered 4 months again and the recipsaw the blade gets wedged in place. Really wasted my money on JCB tools.

Good product
Great buy if you already have battery. One thing noticed is the safety return hits the plastic exhaust connection when returns. Only concern on my purchase was I paid for a new one and it came with finger prints over logo covered in gloss ( was this actually new?) and there was a very small screw loose in box that could have been lost- be carefull when opening

Stupid me
I have had a JCB cordless drill for many years now and realy impressed with the workload I have used it for, the batteries are tired now and as I needed a cordless circular saw I went for the JCB e-tech it seemed a fair price so I purchased it along with a battery and charger. Now that was my first big mistake thinking I could use the same battery for both, you can't (totaly down to me for trying be a cheapskate & not doing proper research) however going back to my purchase compared to my drill the performance and quality build of the saw is not even close in comparison -
