It is either on or off.I have it running off my desktop USB, have also used it via my car phone charger and from a USB battery pack. all metal, no rattles or whines. and fairly quit and runs well with no issues. on off switch is on the back of the fan. can tilt up and down with no issue.In picture you can see the size compared to the keyboard, so while the enclosure is slightly larger, the fan blades themselves are 4".

I use this on my desk at work. It works well. It's a small size and fits the space that I have for it. I would buy it again.

I love these little fans.

I bought this for work but ended up using it at home because it can only be plugged into a computer. However it does work very well and blows instant cool air. About the height and width of a Roku remote

USB is nice touch

I'm trying to avoid plastic as much as possible, so when I needed a bedside fan to help with menopausal hot flashes, it was difficult to find a small one that isn't plastic!This one is great! Very sturdy and it moves a good amount of air directly where you point it. It's nice looking, too.The only things I don't love are:1) It's a bit noisier than I'd like. The fan gives off a high pitched whine while it's on. Not enough to bother most people maybe (husband says it's quiet) but it took me awhile to get used to it enough to fall back asleep after I turn it on. Now, it's fine & doesn't bother me as much.2) There's only one speed. But I actually don't mind because it's powerful enough for my needs.

A little loud, but it does the job when I’m closed in my stuffy home office.

The fan does move some air, but I bought it to go on my desk at work. I have to turn it off to hear people, but I do have bad hearing

I use this fan to cool my old Xbox One down, I just plug it into the usb port and let it do its thing! It definitely helps cool down the Xbox and has surprisingly good air flow for its size. The only complaint I have is that it was a little louder than I expected, I don’t notice it when I have my headset on and get used to it after awhile without, but you can definitely tell it’s there at first.

It works really well sitting next to you or at a computer desk.I'm in menopause and it's right beside my bed for night sweats and it really helps cool down. The swivel base bar makes it easy to sit on your lap or table and adjust the fan up or down. The base bar also has three rubber grippers that help it from slipping. Pretty decent for quick cool down.I wish the cord was just a little bit longer. It's only 3 ft but I plugged it into an extension cord so it reaches my bedside table.It's only been a few days, hopefully it lasts for a while.

I bought the first fan about 2 years ago. This fan ran without being turned off for that entire time. It only broke when I dropped something really heavy on it by accident.These fans are perfect for you desktop and I cannot recommend them enough!!
