This power supply box is very light and compact and well-built with insulated metal. Its value for money comes in as an 18-channel power supply box compared to the value of the other 9 or 16 channel boxes. The power supply also comes with both male and female pigtail connectors as added value. It is easy to install with easy access holes for screws and there's an on/off light to indicate when the power is turned on or off. I am highly satisfied with the purchase and strongly recommend this power supply to other CCTV installers for value for money.

Great product easily installed. I have been putting off installing one of these for a long time. I am glad I finally did it. It was easy to install and looks great.

I purchased this unit in February 2017 and it has worked well until last week. I’ll be removing it because of the power output’s loss. At this moment I can only use 6 of the 16 channels. I’ll bring it to a bench to test it out. Hopefully I can rebuild it. I still had my lorex 8 channel power supply that I have never used. Also I have ordered an aftermarket power supply similar to the lorex unit. One thing I’m glad is that the wires for the cameras are intact. 4 years of continuous running 24/7 days a week this unit is expected to degrade over time. I’ll keep my old comment below:I waited for my day off to set up and install the unit. In the added photos I numbered all leads 1-16 and capped the unused leads for later use. Also I applied electric tape to the extramale ends, wrapped and stowed for later use. I wanted the split output power supply but this unit sold me for the price, fuse-less(glass-free fuses), grounded outlet and free leads, once plugged in it took about 2-3 minutes to charge the capacitors. All works well. Thanks. Still going well since March 2017. I have been using 14 of the 16 ports. I’ll be installing the last two soon.Updated on December 12th, 2020. The unit has failed. It was time since I had this running continuously since purchasing it. Now I have the original power supply and an aftermarket. Hopefully I can order a replacement power supply before getting a new 16 channel unit.

This power distributor was used in a grocery store to run power to 16 cameras. All cameras power up flawlessly and look real clear.

Excellent quality product, very stable 12 VDC output.The included leads make for a very clean professional installation. Connected 16 cameras and the power is perfect, love the fuse-less design. I have used other power supplies that had standard fuses and connecting a camera would have to be done with the power off, or the fuse might blow. Not with this unit! Makes troubleshooting a camera issue easy...I know the power is good.

Works exactly as it’s supposed to. I had my cameras hooked to dongles (pigtails that have multiple outputs) and the power constantly failed on one or two cameras at any time. With this power box that is no longer an issue. I have not had one power failure since installing this box. I mounted it to the wall behind the cabinet under the tv with hollow wall anchors as it’s not attractive to look at. Makes it a little difficult to get to but since it never fails, no problem. The provided pigtails could be a little longer.

These power supplies should just be considered a required component to purchase for your surveillance system. The AC to DC power adapters that come with cameras will work for a while, but will eventually fail and they will never produce as clean of DC power as a stand-alone power supply will. Going one step further, I say that not only the cameras need this, but also the DVR as well. Case in point, I started experiencing lots of interference/noise on my cameras (lines running through the video) which were already connected to this power supply. Turns out that the power adapter that came with my DVR was the culprit. I was only using 8 of the 16 outputs for cameras, so I wired up 5 of the outputs together for the DVR (approximately 1 amp/node). Now not only do I have clean power, it consolidates all the power wiring into this one box, and I am convinced that my cameras video looks way cleaner and shows more detail due to the lack of noise. Definitely a worthwhile investment.
