...And another thing..
I left a quick review tonight after opening the package and seeing that it was my yo-yo reels, but after playing with them for a bit I felt I needed to add some things. First of all, these things are. MUCH sturdier than I had expected. Very, very solid construction, and they are made in the USA . I must admit, I had expected something closer resembling a Cracker Jack toy. Instead, I opened the box, and found a lovely row of 12 steel yo yo reels. They appear to be about the circumference of a snuff tin, if you are so inclined, but only about one-half the thickness. Instructions are included, but thoroughly unnecessary. I hadn't held one of them in my hand for more than 10 seconds before my mind flooded with a hundred useful possibilities for this thing, not the least of which fishing and small game trapping. If you ask me, they need to market these things as a general-purpose simple-spring with a million uses. As far as preppers or survivalists or folks wanting to put together a bug-out bag for themselves and their family, these are easily one of the most singularly useful, inexpensive gadgets I can recommend. The only item in my bag imbued with more usefulness and less B.S. Is my Morakniv #2, and that's just a high-carbon blade on a stick. These reels are truly functional and elegant. Buy a pack of 12 and pop a few into your family's 72-hour bags. Summing up, these things are just cool. Absolutely no BS about them, just beautifully simple and simply useful little things.

Bakers Dozen? Nope
The product is excellent! I’ve used them since I was a child and if they are legal where you fish and you have treetops or something sticking up over your best fishing hole, it is a great way to catch fish. I don’t know where the problem occurred but I should have taken a picture. The YO-YO box was open and the reels were laying in a pile under the box. Which wouldn’t normally bother me but there were only 11. You’re only allowed 25 per person where I plan to fish so I ordered 2 boxes (1 dozen per box normally). At $5 per reel I figure I’ll find one of my old rusty ones and clean/lubricate it so I every chance. I don’t know why the two boxes are coming on different days but hopefully the one I get tomorrow will have 13 in it. But I really hope it at least has the 12 that it’s supposed to have. I will admit that there could be some fine print somewhere that said Winona R works as a packer and just can’t help herself because they’re shiny. But I really expected 12 because I paid the (12) price.

Pretty Good gadget
Haven't used these yet in the real world, but they are solid, smooth and should work fine. There is about 12 feet of 60lb nylon string, but only about 5 feet or so is useable/needed because the spring winds tight. You will need and should use a wire leader from the swivel to the hook, but that's fine and it makes it easier to change the hook, lure, bait if you decide to. Package of twelve is very reasonable, under $5 each. As one other reviewer said, they seem like they don't have enough "umph" for a bigger fish, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Other reviewer said when tried out, it wasn't a problem, but I gotta check it myself. Seller is top notch on this, would definitely do business with them again. Actually going to search on other things that he sells and will go to them first if they have things I'm looking for.

This is the most effective way to put multiple species of fish on the dinner table
These yo-yos and some snail Aberdeen hooks and a bucket of minnows are about the most fun you can have on a creek bank

Great Gift for your fishing friends!
My husband was dying for these for his birthday, his uncle had recently purchased and fished with menos on the yo-yos. They caught over 100 (mostly crappie and bass)! They had so much fun! So we got him some of his own, he loves them! Uses them all the time and has only had one get stuck with line down, overall great product! And fun was to passive fish while your wetting a line yourself :)

Awesome
I love these! They're easy to use, they work wonderfully, and the size is perfect for the stuff we fish for. They're well worth the money, I've caught everything from carp, crappie, catfish, and even a few bass & walleye. These are my go to while camping for a week or more!
