will it charge at the usb-c port and input from usb a port to samsung Tab A 7, i try 2 other brand, A port will not work if C port is charging

I use this on my steam deck for that exact purpose, really that is the purpose of an OTG cable; to allow charging while adding a data port. If you are not getting a charge current you might need a higher output charger, I am using a 65 watt charger with this and when I add my portable monitor to the system my charge rate drops and I can no longer use the OTG cable.

Using this plus octo4a and a 3d printer (ender 3 v2) will any usb a to micro usb cable work or does that have to be otg also? mine won't connect.
