Well made
It has a good feel to it. I like it a lot. It does need to be heated up and lightly taped so that both teeth touch at the same time to keep a flat bar from spinning side to side, just a minor adjustment

Used it few times and...
The tips don't meet parallel, meaning that if you try to grasp something flat, it only grabs a corner. It wasn't a huge deal to file the ends parallel, but it's something to maybe check before trying to put that first knife blank into the oven.

It requires a little shaping so that the handles aren’t spread out as far when gripping but that was expected. Works great!

Grab hot metal
Tongs came well packaged. They are sturdy and grab hot metal. Hard to mess this one up.

Very basic with no grip
The teeth and v shape hold almost nothing. Better off going to a blacksmith site and getting a good pair. Will cost you more but would be better in the end. Good of you are doing very small work I guess.
