The media could not be loaded. I ordered this set of discs to remove paint on old board and bat wood siding on an older ranch house. They are slightly softer than the black discs I have used in the past, but the longevity seems about the same.I am using an 11,000 rpm angle grinder. The discs remove paint aggressively, and do not bite into pine siding as a wire cup brush or black discs can. Note that exposed nail heads will eat them up.I removed paint on about 500 sf of siding down to the wood and used three of the five in the pack. On newer siding with fewer loose nails it would have used fewer discs.I find the discs perform great. I like the price point. And I will buy this brand again.

Although I purchased this item some time ago, I have finally gotten around to using it. I am currently restoring an old Delta drill press that someone spray-painted without covering vital parts first. That said, I first used Klean Strip Ultra Aircraft Paint Remover (which worked quite well) and then used these disks to remove the loose paint, grime, and rust, cleaning the parts down to the bare metal. After using them, I don't know how anyone could have an issue with these stripping disks and give a one-star review. They worked amazingly and will buy more. Don't let the negative reviews deter you from buying it - you won't be disappointed.

Had a few large cast iron surfaces than suffered surface rust while in a barn for several years. Used a de-rusting compound then these to hasten these wheels. These wheels are beasts. Had to go lightly with them. Job went extremely well. All the tools came out looking like showroom pieces, after polishing. AMAZING.

Didn’t quite tighten some things n my angle grinder. Although a washer did the trick. Extremely durable and strips paint with ease. Be careful on soft wood to not leave marks. Highly recommended

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Tried wire brushes and sanding discs before so we watched video on this product. It actually does what it advertises, removes paint and rust, and it works quickly. Will use again when need arises. No surprise that the life of the fiber disc is very dependent on amount of paint and rust to be removed.

Irreplaceable! they are perfect for frangible or otherwise delicate surfaces. They wear rapidly, and produce a lot of dust Be prepared for a lot of cleanup, and order them in bulk. You will grow to like them.

used on removing paint on car body. worked great and very fast. however the wheel wears very rapidly. i managed to get about 1 sq foot of paint removed down to metal for each disk .
