WW2 Sniper Review
WW2 Sniper: Call to Victory A very good war game to enjoy, just keep your gernades Primarly for the tanks and pick up any when you can. Two gernades will blow a Tank. Two rockets from a rocket launcher will do the same

An attractive box and reasonably priced......but that's it.
As my title suggests, a disappointing game!As a sniper in this game, you spent most of your time as an infantry man, trudging the towns, fields, streets etc; but rather than being a true sniper specialist, you play an infantry soldier who just happens to have a sniper rifle. The graphics are fairly good and the FPS perspective is well done, but where this game really falls down is in the gameplay. Let me explain...1.) The play is very linear, you can't stray from the chosen path by more than a yard or two (at which point you'll hit an invisible wall). You have a compass that dictates which way to go next.2.) Your fellow soldiers simply stand around and watch( not all, but a lot of the time), even when they are in the midst of a firefight, (especially when you're in desperate need of assistance)3.) The enemy is repeatedly regenerated from one or two areas and you must kill all of them before you move on to the next encounter. (this became drawn out and tedious after a short while) All in all, a "Call of Duty" wannabe, but poor play makes this effort a game to avoid.

Title sounded promising; that was all
I love sniping! In most shooting games, I tend to pick the sniper rifle, or anything to snipe people out. When I saw this title, I had to get it.When I started to play the first chapter, I had doubts that it'd be that great. The sound of the guns, even how they fired looked old and very dull. The graphics weren't even that sharp and impressive. It did at times, give me a sniper feeling, but the game ended so quickly. This just isn't a promising game.

A Fair Sniper Game That Has Some Problems.
If you played any of the "Medal of Honor" games, then you have played WW2 Sniper. The only real difference between this heavily scripted game and the other WW2 FPS games is the amount of sniping opportunities available. The graphics are pretty good, except for the clipping problems. If you dare to walk outside of the scripted areas, you will fall through the ground to your death. I did this several times while exploring certain levels (you cross a bridge only to realize that it spans across infinity, you can walk behind a church and jump right off the map).I bought the game for sniping and that is what it delivers, so I can't complain too much.
