I looked for a long time for a water bottle insulating sleeve but most everything was not really all that great or the size would not work on my Contigo 18-20 oz bottle. Finally, I found this sleeve that had the measurements to fit the aforementioned Contigo bottle. As we so many things online, I was a little apprehensive on whether it would fit not only the height but also the girth around the bottle specially since the particular one I have is narrower at the bottom but wider at the top. It turned out to be a perfect fit. Better yet it actually does a true insulating job on keeping the water cold. I usually walk around 1.75 hours or 11 - 12k steps in the mornings In sunny and balmy Florida. The real test is that the water is not just cold but there is still ice in the bottle at the end of my walks. I dislike warm water from any container, with this sleeve I do not have any such issues. The sleeve comes with a sling which truth be told, it is not very useful, the Contigo bottle has a built-in 2 finger plastic loop which is how I carry the bottle. BTW, the bag in no way interferes with the plastic loop when opening the flip top to drink from the bottle. Yes, I am very happy with this insulator bag, it is well made and appears it will last for a good while.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this insulating sleeve. Rather than using the shoulder strap, my intention was to clip a small carabiner into just one of the plastic D-rings and hang it from my daypack. I have done so with no problems. I use this sleeve with a standard 1 quart Nalgene bottle, and it fits just fine, even after freezing the bottle half full, which causes the bottle to swell. I can still fit it into the sleeve and zip it all the way up. It seems to insulate reasonably well, and prevents some of the condensation issues that I had with a fabric sleeve.

I bought this to take on my boundary waters fishing trip, it worked perfectly. We filter all of our water on the trip, so having the strap kept my bottle secure to me while I leaned over the boat or rocky bank to pump water in. A couple of my buddies on the trip had the more expensive “Nalgene” bottle sleeves, but bought this one when we got back because it covers the bottle more thoroughly than theirs, and they also liked the strap, which is removable. I would purchase again.

I got this for my 32oz water bottle. It was a little shorter than I expected, but it holds the water bottle just fine and made it easy to hike with quite a bit of water. There are no fancy pockets or anything, nor did I want any pockets. A great value.

My 1L Nalgene bottle fits perfectly in this insulated sleeve. It definitely keeps the inner liquid cooler for longer than an unprotected bottle, and I don't cringe every time I accidentally drop it on the pavement anymore. The strap is so useful for hiking!

J’utilise cette housse en Néoprène avec une bouteille Nalgene lorsque je fais bouillir de l’eau. Je m’en sert comme bouillotte dans le sleeping bag lorsqu’il fait froid. Garde bien la chaleur de l’eau et évite les brûlures sur la bouteille dans cette circonstance. Je suis très satisfaite.
