Pleasantly surprised at how great this is. Doesn't look cheap at all. Nice, solid, heavy base for sturdiness. Easy to assemble, I didn't need the instructions at all. Was a bit worried when I saw the box because a lamp shade clearly wouldn't fit in it but the shade is rolled up inside and you unroll and clip to the lamp frame. So easy and the shade is made of thick plastic material yet it looks like linen. Very clever design. I give this 5 stars for sure.

Easy, straight forward, and the assembly was easy as toy. No tools required! My lamp burned out so I had to get another. I chose this floor lamp as it was fast, easy, and price economical. It was simply ghostly without a lamp except for the lights from the nearby kitchen, so I had to get a replacement as quick as possible. I ordered the lamp online on Amazon as it was economical to buy on short notice in comparison to other lamps. I chose a few others to compare and I remembered I done this before. But this time was a different experience where in the meantime I bought this less pricey version and wait for another time for a more refined, pricier choice. The prior lamp had an immense body as it was way too big and too outdated for a purchase as it wasn't available to even consider. It was made in the early '90s and to have another was way too conservative, too stayed in the times where I chose to move on to current versions the market currently has to offer. They are well efficient, up to date, sized down in body and style that wow! I couldn't believe the lamps they had. One small table lamp can light up the room. I finally bought this one as it is straight forward on how efficient it seemed to work. A major feature it has is the dimmer. It is a rotating dimmer style knob which is intuitive to use and inviting to have. It requires a light bulb for dimming which came with the package and it glows in a warm LED light, equivalent to a 60 watt hour bulb versus a 100 watt bulb where its resonance or warmth is equivalent to full daylight. It's too bright. I do have in mind to buy a small table lamp near where I sit, across from the lamp just purchased. I think they had two other color choices. I didn't really make any choice, except that black seems to go with anything. The assembly was a snap very easy and very seamless faster than putting together a new toy as we may remember in an earlier period in life with no tools required. But it does come with a "mock" wrench that I had no use for. The lamp was up and running in no time with hideous left over packaging to throw out the moment after I turned on the light just short of its full turn on the nob. I felt almost an instant relief as I remembered before I purchased this same lamp a few years back and I didn't really like it, sticking to my old fashioned likes of a bigger, fatter lamp. They don't make those anymore! I'm glad I changed, making this buyer satisfied with an almost, a smile. I highly recommend this lamp. I mean, I can get another fancier lamp next time. But not too soon! The dimmer feature may be relieved knowing it is to be nearly a full turn on the knob, just short of a full turn to clear any ideas of the meaning of the flicking from the bulb. I think that's really important for me to remember, always. I can't use a light bulb that cannot dim!

Gorgeous lamp, great quality, and very sturdy. It was a very easy set up, quick assembly. And I love the dimmable feature. Makes for a great cozy spot. I read the reviews about the shade, and was nervous about that. But the Velcro to lock it into place on the seam is very durable. And is holding up great. No issues there.

Fast delivery (despite the delays from snowstorms across the country), great price, easy assembly, perfect height, and I love the dimmer.

We have needed new floor lamps for a while now. I just got two of these a few days ago and they are seriously awesome lamps! The dimmer switch is actually on the pole, making it easy to use and the lamps come with a lightbulb as well. The lampshade is a little roll you just clip into place on the lampshade frame - really easy to do and the entire lamp looks sleek. I am VERY happy with these lamps, and I plan on buying about 5 more in the next few months.

In general, this lamp is exactly what you might be hoping for ... for tens of dollars instead of hundreds. It's well-packaged, easy-to-assemble and seems solidly built. The dimmer switch works nicely and it's designed for a standard (E26) dimmable LED bulb, so you can swap in whatever you'd like. So why not 5 stars? Well, I specifically bought this because it was advertised as coming with a 2700K (very warm/yellow) LED bulb, but it actually came with a 3000K bulb. It doesn't sound like a huge difference, but I really was hoping for something warmer... The second issue is the lampshade, which looks like a linen material, but is actually some sort of cheap plastic. It looks fine, but feels less nice than I'd hoped.

Perfect lamp, just what I was looking for! Very good quality and easy to put together! Even comes with its own light bulb!

I ordered this to replace a halogen tortiere style light in my tiny living room. It arrived promptly in a surprisingly small box. It was easy to assemble once I realized that there were little plastic rings protecting the edge of the threads that had to be removed (this was not referenced in the instructions and clearly I haven’t unboxed many lamps!). Pros: great price; arrived promptly; easy to assemble; offset pole means it tucks nicely into the corner behind my recliner; love the dimmer switch - easy to use and gets very bright if you want it to; nice downcast light for reading. Note to those replacing an upward facing light like I am - although the top of the shade is open, the light cast upwards towards the ceiling will be significantly less than the tortiere style light so the change in light quality to the room will take some getting used to. The light is more focused with this light. I have some other table lamps around the room to ensure all corners of the room are lit. Cons: I’m not a fan of Edison bulbs so I swapped out the one it came with for another LED; I’m not sure how I feel about the white lampshade but that’s an aesthetic thing that can be easily changed in the future by purchasing another shade; Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Great light for the price.
