I had high hopes for this product because I use borax regularly for my laundry due to our hard water. It does not dissolve in the washing machine and most times white clumps end up at the end of the wash. I have tried it several times with the same effect. I ended up using it in the dishwasher because that’s the only place it completely dissolves.

Good stuff

I use these borates in my swimming pool, it was perfect all summer, they are significantly cheaper than buying 20# at a pool store for $100+. I also used some of it to make laundry detergent, and it's been a great and inexpensive substitute.

Product works well on laundry, both in washing machine and as an overnight pre-wash stain remover. I also used in crawlspace and attic mold remediation and I can confirm it works well and does not damage wood at all.
