Cleans in the dishwasher
There need to be a couple of improvements but works great. The timer needs to go longer than 10 hours. The automatic locking on it needs to go away. It needs to stay on fahrenheit instead of making me change it every time I use the smoker. These are minor issues though for a great smoker. I like the consistent temperature. I like the biscuits making the smoke and there is a lot of smoke. I like most everything about the smoker and it works great.

Disappointing experience
Disappointing experience. First one returned due to extensive shipping damage. Second one damaged but kept out of frustration. Now I find it is essentially DOA but the support people are super helpful. Just wish that for $800, I had a working unit. Based on my assumption, it will probably be a month before this ever gets working. [UPDATE] It is well over a month and I still do not have a working unit. Bradley provided all the replacement parts but I spent hours installing them and still, it does not operate properly. Imagine setting up for a 2 hour smoke and finding that after the first bisquette fed, the unit jammed and all you had was a 20 minute smoke instead of a 2 hour smoke. I could have done that in much less time in my grill and saved $800 The QA just does not seem to exist for this $800 item. [UPDATE - ADVICE] FIRST - I would NOT recommend this smoker if you were not a very talented handyman. It took a lot of time and effort to install all of the replacement parts. SECOND - Others have said they experienced bisquette jams as did I. What we discovered is that there was a very small burr on the bottom of the bisquette feeder tube. Run you finger carefully on the inside of the bottom of the feeder tube. Do this by using an 'in and out' motion, not circular as that would cut your finger. If you feel a burr, flip the tube over. Now it appears to be working as intended. [UPDATE] this was purchased in March 2024, it is now August 2024. The smoker is now tripping the GFCI circuits. What a nightmare!

Best smoker
We have had one of these for years. I have numerous other smokers but this is by far the best one ever. It is easy to use, the flavor is great. I will never have another brand of smoker than the Bradley.

Don't waste your money!
I bought this 1 year and 3 months ago and have spent over $400 in parts keeping it going. Smoker tray heating element has failed 2 times. Main heating elements have failed 1 time. Puck tray motor failed 1 time. Puck tray gets stuck all the time. Temp sender has failed 1 time. It's not Professional level at all not even close. Just a marketing scam. Stainless shell to make it look high quality which it is NOT! A friend bought 7 for gifts they all have failed. So embarrassing.

Not a quality product or company (downgrade from previous review)
While touted as an intuitive smoker, it is anything but. The instructions are non-existent and came with the most rudimentary supplemental instruction booklet (4pages). Update after 8 months: I would reconsider my purchase. I had to replace the burner sensor after 4 months of use and again after another 4 months. I do not use it more than 2-3 times a month, so I do not use it heavily as was suggested by the person in customer service when I called the first time (I’ve used it maybe 15 times). I am getting an “error code 3”, which means that the bisquette Ms aren’t advancing to the burner, which is not true; actually the bisquettes are advancing too quickly and are not getting burned at all. The other issue is replacing the sensors. There are no instructions. You have to contact Bradley. They did send me a replacement sensor, which I had to install myself. This took about an hour. It would have taken 15 minutes to replace, however 80% of the screws were cammed out/stripped before I got to them and one could not be removed. The other issue is that I cannot cold smoke. While I can set the temperature to 86F, it will not hold, even with the temperature probe, and will climb up to 118F. My cold smoked mozzarella looks like a set of B-cup implants rescued from an OR fire sitting on a plate of saline Bradley won’t take it back and won’t service it. Updated review 3 years after purchase): After having had the P10 for three years and having replaced the sensors 3 times and having sent the burner back to Bradley (they very, very reluctantly accepted it), I’m done with Bradley. What was touted as a “set it and forget it” smoker, the P10 requires constant babysitting. The carousel jams easily and won’t advance the next biscuit, giving you an error code (Err 3), forcing you to remove your meat, take the burner unit out, take it apart, clear the jam, reassemble it and start again. I have had brisket set up to smoke overnight and gone out to check on it two or three hours later only to find that it’s still completely full of unburned biscuits. I have since burned it up in my charcoal chimney starter to light my coals in my Weber kettle grill. When you call customer service they don’t direct you to their website, but rather the Bradley users group. I smoked my Thanksgiving turkey for 5 1/2 hours and then attempted to smoke a slab of home cured bacon only to have it quit. It goes out with the trash Wednesday night. I almost forgot: the pan that you put water or other liquids that you want to flavor your food rusted out and developed a pinhole and leaked grease and beer all over the inside and down my driveway. Stainless steel? I think not.

Great, once working
I ordered one of these and it was shipped quickly, but the touch panel wasn't functional. Amazon was super-helpful and arranged for a replacement to be shipped and for the return of the non-functional smoker (I didn't want to wait for Bradley to ship me replacement parts I had to install). Once working, I really like this better than the non-Pro model I used to have as it better regulates temperature, has a more reliable bisquette feed, has built-in temperature probes, and the temperatures and smoking time can be programmed. A few tips for new owners: - On arrival, the first thing to do is remove the small steel plate securing the front door via four small screws. The rest of the assembly instructions are inside the unit - Get a cover or otherwise cover/shade the unit as I suspect a few years of sun will not be kind to the digital display or touch panel - Remember that the child lock automatically turns on after five minutes and locks out the touch panel controls. Push the knob in for a few seconds to unlock - For small amounts of fish, better to have a small pan or foil on a rack underneath the food so you don't have to do a lot of cleaning to remove the smell. For salmon, fattier cuts (white banding) will be juicier. Chilean sea bass is absolutely delicious

Powerful and compact!
I've used this thing twice since I bought it and both times my family have raved about the results. Upgraded to the P10 from the basic analog Bradley which I had for about 13 years and worked flawlessly. The dual meet sensors make cooking a large meal easy, once you get used to the controls they are very easy to use. I highly recommend this product. On a side note I had a couple questions about the operation of the unit, I got answers from Bradley customer service the same day. Very solid product very solid company to deal with!

Bad quality, non-existent customer support
Unable to put it together as one of the legs does not fit well. So I called support, as the big sticker said "do not return to the store, call us first". A lady picks up, and I tell her that I have a problem, and I am calling because I do not want to return it to the store. She responds, "its OK, return it to the store. me: "But I am hoping you can help me" (annoyed, lady responds) "ok, you will need to send up pictures, I can't help you when I cannot see what is wrong" me: "but I can describe the problem, maybe you can help" Lady: "you need to email us pictures. ok, good bye" me: "so you do not provide phone support?" Lady: "I don't have anyone today. ok? good bye" so, I returned it... Also, the quality is very poor. Look at the pictures - screws have bigger holes, the parts are not perfectly fitted, so you might need to make adjustments. This is why they only give 1 year warranty

As advertised
I bought this to replace an older Bradley smoker. I had some issues with the pucks not being advanced and then due to the high internal heat it shut off and I couldn't get it going. Bradley support was excellent, and I learned how to check the fuse and when that wasn't the issue how to access the back panel and reset it. That was easy enough to do. I think I wanted to actually buy the Bradley Smart smoker to use my cell phone so if you are looking at this one, make sure it is the one you want. The racks are bigger than the other Bradleys' which is great for mass smoking projects. I'm still trying to figure out the USB & program functions.
