I’ve been using The Andersons 18-0-4 Barricade Fertilizer for a while now, and it’s hands down one of the best pre-emergent weed control products out there. It does an amazing job preventing weeds before they even start, saving me time and effort later in the season.The added fertilizer gives my lawn a deep green, healthy look without excessive growth, which is perfect. The granules are small and spread evenly, making application super easy. This stuff is making my yard look great. Second year in a row and my yard has never looked better.

Easy to use product which withheld any further weed growth. Have used is the past with success in Eastern NC. A tad pricey but less expensive than Lawn Company would charge.

Price was reasonable. Size was just barely enough for our size of yard. But this was the better options than buying next size up.

I have used a lot of different pre-emergents and this one is my favorite. I use it in early February around Valentine’s Day and then again in mid March and it will prevent the growth and spreading of weeds. But remember, you can’t plant grass for a few months after you put this down so if you drop it in Feb/March, you need to wait till mid May/June to drop grass seed..
