Update 3/21/25: I did buy a cheaper brand and it works well BUT if you're new to collagen powder then I recommend you start with this product. It dissolves better and has less smell/taste. Once you get the hang of it, then save some money and go cheaper but if you go cheaper right off the bat, I don't know that you'll be happy with it. Update 3/15/25: I paid $34.99 for 21.1 oz. ($1.66ish per oz.) on August 18, 2024 and now on March 16, 2025 the price is $30 for 14 oz. ($2.14ish per oz.) so I'll be shopping for a new source of grass fed collagens I & III powder. Still a good product but there are cheaper options of similar quality. First of all, I do recommend putting this in the freezer while you work your way through it, as it seems to taste "stronger" now than when I first bought it and has a bit of a yellowish tint when mixed with water when at first it was entirely clear. My routine is to put a scoop of this in small "craft" screw-top containers that I bought at Walmart, 4 for $1.50ish, and keep them by my bed. In the morning when I wake up, I pour half an ounce or so of water from my water bottle in the powder, put the lid on and shake it up really well. By the time I'm done brushing my teeth and doing a few other things, it's dissolved. I gulp it down in a swallow or two and follow it with a few swallows of water (and sometimes a hershey's kiss to change the taste in my mouth. Once I've gone through my craft cups, I wash and refill with scoops of powder.

I wasn't expecting much, but listen… this stuff works quietly and consistently. I started adding it to my morning water, no flavor, no weird smell, nothing. Within a few weeks, my skin looked more even, my nails stopped breaking, and my joints weren't making that "old furniture" sound. It mixes smooth and disappears like it never existed - until you catch yourself glowing one random day. Definitely a repeat buy.

Very good product, really helped my hair, skin and nails. I have Sjogrens syndrome and have extremely dry skin and this helped to reduce the scaliness of my skin. I like that it is tasteless and blends well with water although it is harder to dissolve if the water is really cold.

3 full tablespoons for a serving so you're adding a lot of this to your drink. It is absolutely -not- tasteless. It tastes like someone took a cookies and cream flavored powder and took all the sweetness out of you and left you with the unsweetened powder. I hated it in coffee but its actually okay with flavored water packets. It dissolved "okay" and hot liquid was no better than cold liquid for taste or dissolving the powder. I'm not mad at this product but I will definitely be trying some others to see if theyre better before I choose to come back to it.

I just received this and have only taken two doses but wanted to write this to state it actually has NO flavor as advertised, which I am soo happy for! Alot of powders/supplements will always have an aftertaste or won't mix well and this collagen has neither of these issues. I like it in my tea but also tried mixing in cold water and still could not taste it and there was no clumping, fizzles up with alot of bubbles but those quickly disappear. Will update my review later on how well it helps with hair and joint support etc but soo far very happy!

Great collagen powder that dissolves really well in warm liquids. I love mixing this into my morning coffee or evening tea. It's completely flavorless and doesn't change the texture of drinks.

Neocell is an awesome collagen. I really love this product. It dissolves instantly in my hot coffee, leaves no significant flavor and makes my joints feel better and my skin look and feel very soft and healthy. And it is grass fed. It takes a bit of investigation, tho, to find out which version is the best buy. The labeling on the green container looks like it is twice the strength of the pink container. It is not! The scoop in the green container is exactly twice the size of the scoop in the pink container and both are two scoops per serving. If you use two of the scoops that come in the pink container (or one that comes in the green container), you get more for your money from the green container. That being said, usually the green container is the best buy. I just wish the labeling would be straightforward so that you could compare apples to apples. In spite of the clever labeling, I still give this product/brand five stars. I wouldn't be without it because it works as a collagen should.

I purchased this because it was an Amazon Deal and the price was right. I have watched the price of the brand I usually purchase steadily climb and hoped for an alternative. I tried one other brand earlier this year but found it didn't dissolve as well and could taste it more than my preferred brand, so back I went and ponied up the dough. If I thought that first alternative wasn't great. This one is flat out bad. This is extremely hard to get dissolved and certainly has an unpleasant taste and smell. It was rated more than 4 stars so I didn't bother reading reviews when I purchased it. I've just gone back to read some reviews of folks who weren't impressed and it's not encouraging. It looks like plenty of people have purchased this brand before and used to be satisfied. There is some variance of where and when they purchased the satisfactory product but it appears that recently, others are experiencing what I am. Maybe that's why Amazon cut the price on this junk. I don't know if they've changed their formulation or means of production. I don't know if this is a bad lot or what you can expect from them going forward. I just know I won't buy it again. Beyond the clumpy, gluey, flimy, foamy, stinky experience in my morning mug, I have noticed the constipation others mention. Thank goodness, I didn't break out in hives like many of them.
