Best double walled glasses that I have found.
I love double-walled glasses. They keep my drinks cold and the outside of the glass does not get too cold so they are not ncomfortable to hold and they do not get condensation on the outside so you don't really need to use a coaster. These particular double-walled glasses are the best that I have found. They are sturdy and dishwasher safe. The ripples on the sides make the very easy to hold. The only real downside that I can think of is that they are a bit heavy. This doesn't bother me but my wife complains that they are too heavy and she does not want to use them. However, she does not like to use the single-walled 20 oz. glasses that we have. That basically completes my review of this product but if you want a little bit of background on my search for the perfect double-walled glass, the here you go:I have tried a couple different styles of double-walled glasses in the past. The first set I purchased was from Costco and they were made of very thin glass. They looked nice but they were not dishwasher safe and they broke very easily. Out of a set of four that I bought about four years ago, I only have one left. The second set that I tried were Tervis glasses made of plastic. I initially thought those were great as I have kids and they were advertised as beng ndestructible. However, in short order my then 2 year old threw one at our tile floor and it smashed (whereas I think a cheap plastic cup from the dollar store probably would have survived). 2 out of the 6 Tervise cups I have owned have had problems with the seal at the mouth of the cup (there is a seam where the inside wall connects to the outside wall) and they have gotten water in between the double walls (Tervis has a lifetime warranty but I would have to pay the shipping to return them to the factory and I live in Canada so shipping would cost almost as much as the glasses themselves). The biggest problem with the Tervis glasses is that after a few cycles through the dishwasher they all look cloudy and scratched. While my remaining 3 out of 6 Tervis glasses are still fine to drink out of, I no longer want to serve drinks to guests in them.

Heavy duty for a double wall glass
I have used bodum glasses for more than 5 years and recently started using steady temp glasses. I love them both but my bodum's break often (they also look the prettiest). My steady temps have been great and not suffered any casualties yet (they are glass so I realize this may happen at some point). These Sun Tea Glasses arrived quickly and were very well packaged. I was surprised at the weight of the box-they are very heavy duty and heavy weight for a double wall glass. The space between the walls is smaller than in some of my other brand double wall glasses so the suspended liquid effect isn't as great. They are very pretty, though and I like them a lot. They keep the drinks col, they are larger than any of my other double wall glasses and they don't sweat. They would make a nice vase in addition to a great drinking glass. I love making iced carmel macciatos and pretty colored iced teas in these glasses because they make it look so pretty! Definitely recommend!

Attractive, keeps iced tea cold w/out condensation - but big and heavy
I love these Sun Tea thermo glasses, which I bought to replace an even larger Tervis 24oz double-wall plastic tumbler, which I've had for about five years now.Pros: Very attractive glass, both empty and full. I'm not kidding. The photos barely do it justice. The slight waviness in the sides means it's easy for someone with tiny hands like mine to handle it. Keeps cold drinks cold for a long time (haven't tried it with hot yet). Well constructed and well-packaged.Cons (sort of): It is a heavy glass. However, this to be expected in a double-walled borosilicate tumbler. I personally don't consider it a problem, but some folks might mind. It's also rather narrow inside, and even with hands as small as mine, I need a brush to wash it. (As it turns out, Sun Tea sells a four-dollar bottle brush that works perfectly with the glass, so I bought one as an add-on item with my Prime-qualifying order.) Although Sun Tea says the glass is dishwasher safe, I'm probably going to stick with hand-washing. Also, I suppose the price might seem a little high for just two glasses, especially in the day of complete sets at local discount stores for less than twenty bucks...but I like a touch of luxury for a glass I literally use every single day. (Iced rooibos tea is my drink of choice.)Subjective: Again, some might mind the heaviness of the glass, especially when full, but I actually consider it a good feature, as the glass will take quite a jostle to tip over. (This wasn't the case with the Tervis, which spilled more times than I care to admit, and contributed to the demise of not one but two computer keyboards.)The other subjective feeling has to do with the thickness of the rim. Another reviewer commented that it was too thick and resulted in "dribbling around the edges". I honestly don't see how that's possible, but whatever. I really like the smoothness and curve of the rim, which is unlike any other glass (or mug) I've owned. There is no sharpness or edge to catch the lip -- whereas with the Tervis double-walled tumbler, for example, there was the rim itself, which wasn't rounded, and then another outer hard edge where the two halves of the plastic -- the inner and outer walls -- were joined but did not meet perfectly.Anyway, like I said, some folks might be put off by the weight and the thickness and oddness of the smooth rim, but I consider both of those positive features. We only got the two glasses, but if they ever go on sale, I'm thinking we'll probably pick up a few more for general use.The one thing I can't comment on is durability, having only had the glasses for about a week, but they sure give the impression of being solid and hard-to-break. Not fragile at all. We'll see.18 October 2015 update: For those who might be wondering about durability, I still have the two glasses I bought back in April 2014. They both still look like new and I've even tipped them over a couple times without breakage. I do hand-wash them, which may make a difference, and I'm also careful about thermal shock -- that is, if the glass is cold, I wash with cold water. If warm, I use tap water to equalize the temperature before adding ice.
