Alxum 40Gbps USB4 CFexpress 4.0 Type B Professional Card Reader Aluminium

A very compact and neat unit supplied with USB cable. Needed to purchase as my new camera uses the CF Express 'B' cards. No issues at all in use and very pleased with the purchase. (Note .. all card readers can get warm if left connect for long periods so always recommend 'ejecting' after file transfer as a good practice)

Good value and build quality, no reliability issues so far. Card fits into the reader snugly. Leads bundled with the reader are decent quality.

Works very well. Though it does get very hot during use.

I didn't need a full high speed reader so this is a decent value for money item. Solidly built. Update in June. The CFExpress slot failed on it's second use. It does not retain the card so the contents cannot be read. Returning to Amazon for repair, rather disappointed.

Warmth? I've no idea why Amazon want me to rate the "warmth" of this product, but what I can confirm is that both slots showed up as separate drives - no additional drivers required in Windows 10 - allowing me to copy files between two cards, at speeds greater than the original (USB2-limited) card reader that came integrated with my PC. The cable is fixed so not easily replaceable, but seems reasonable sturd; despite looking a bit like an Apple product, the cable seems much more durable than a typical flimsy Apple charge cable for example.

Excellente facilité d'utilisation, correspond exactement à la description du produit. J'aurais aimé que le câble mesure une dizaine de cm de plus, mais ce n'est pas une gêne majeure.

Rzadko piszę recenzje, ale po przetestowaniu 6 czytników muszę odnotować, że to jest pierwsze urządzenie, które uzyskuje przyzwoite prędkości odczytu na karcie Angelbird CFExpress SE 512GB, która jest relatywnie tańsza, ale niestety kapryśna w odczycie i na innych czytnikach działa dużo wolniej lub nie działa. Także - polecam! Sprawdzałem na tym czytniku również adapter ZITAY z nośnikiem Kioxia 1TB - również działa prawidłowo. Więc jeśli tak jak ja, szukasz tańszych nośników CFExpress Typ B, to czytnik Alxum się sprawdza, a i on ma przyzwoitą cenę.

Je n'ai pas testé les débits mais ça a l'air de correspondre à de l'usb 3, le branchement est un peu difficile mais visiblement solide, fonctionne bien sur tout les OS, l'alu est joli mais prend les rayures.

Excellent card reader, super fast read and write and it doesn't get too hot either.
