Can this be folded ? Is it easy to carry for travel ?

Yes and no :) The assembly snaps together with tiny little spring button lucks (like mini old school tent poles) which should be easy to remove for fast folding for transport. Problem is they snap into a plastic part and in order to release them you have to use a nail or pin to get to the push button. I have done it but its annoying. Next time I have it apart Ill probably just break the button part. Friction and gravity will hold it together fine.

does this come with an infant insert - does it support newborns?

The best part about these is they can be bent a bit to accommodate a newborn at a safe angle. These are best once they are broken in a bit. I tried to find a used one in my area for baby 5 because there is a 15 year age gap between baby 4 and baby 5, so I no longer have my old one.

Is the fabric breathable? I need something to sit her in outside where she won't get too sweaty in the Houson summer heat.

It isn't plastic and the cover can be machine washed so it is reasonably breathable we haven't had him outside in it yet but Florida gets pretty steamy and he doesn't seem to get sweaty in it.

is this too small for an 8 month chubby baby?

I catch my 30 lb, 2 year old bouncing in it on occasion, and my 8 month old is already 21 lbs. He doesn't like it anymore since he wants to move around now and knows being in it means going no where.

Poor quality and bad returns policy

The arch with the hanging toys does not fit securely into the fixture. It’s a loose fitting so easily falls down, possibly on to the baby! Also returns policy is awful. You have to arrange and pay for the courier yourself!
