Cosmos Heavy Duty Aluminum Double Handle (2 cup) suction cup plate/pad for lifting/pulling glass

The media could not be loaded.        This glass holder works great. I use it to hold my frame glass so I can apply UV film to it. This solid metal frame gives me something I can put in the vise without having to put any pressure on the glass. The suction cups gold the glass firm so I can press on it while applying the UV film.I have included photos of the glass holder. These photos include the dimensions. I also attached a video demonstrating how well the glass holder will hold onto 11"x14" frame glass. Lastly, I attached a photo of the glass holder in my bench vise so you can see how I utilize the tool for cleaning and working on frame glass.These things are made to lift windshields so they are definitely more than qualified to do the tasks I need them for with lighter frame glass. You may want to be a little light on it. I used this product to fix some gaps in a laminate floor. This involved sticking the suction cups to the floor planks and beating handle with a rubber mallet. I was skeptical but it worked great and I was able to close up several gaps in just a few minutes.When both suction cups were attached I noticed no slippage. On some of the shorter boards near the wall I was only able to attach one cup. With just one suction cup engaged there was some minor slippage (maybe 1/4" total) but it still worked well.Many of these types of handles are made of plastic. Since I was going to be hitting it with a hammer (not the intended use), I chose this product with an aluminum handle. I definitely made the right choice.The only minor thing that I noticed is that the levers used to engage each suction cup are made of plastic. It feels like a durable plastic but if one of them breaks then the tool is pretty much worthless. That being said, for the price this tool exceeded my expectations.

We have heavy sliding glass hurricane doors and the handles keep breaking - the doors are heavy and those handles can only take so much. We've tried to use suction cups, but that's not incredibly effective and so I thought we'd give something like this a try - something meant to move glass, something that's durable and heavy enough to handle the force expected - and it has worked beautifully. Indeed, using this as a handle for these doors has proven easier to use than the handles that came with the door in the first place. The best part is I can pop them off very easily if I need to and readjust them or use them for other bits of glass I need to move but they're sturdy enough that I don't worry that they're going to pop off when I'm using it.

I bought 4 of them to move a large (5'x5') glass dining table top and they did quite well. I also plan to use them to extract and reinstall kitchen appliances during a remodel. They were manufactured in China and appeared well made. Although I have a reservation about the service life of the plastic levers used to set the vacuum in each cup. I am concerned that those critical parts will be the first to break. (The levers, shown in the photos, are the black part at the top of each cup.) If a lever breaks, you can not set or release the vacuuming. How do I buy replacement levers?I found it interesting that the four handles were shipped separately and arrived a couple days apart. Each box could have held all four. The excess space was filled with plastic air bags. (Five stars for stout packaging). One handle came in the Chinese manufacturer's box, inside the shipping box. The Chinese box also included a replacement set of vacuuming levers and instructions in Chinese, which I could not read.

Heavy duty Aluminum with powerful suction. Got a LARGE dent in my BRAND NEW 2016 Dodge Ram Truck. Hit the column in the parking garage. Was sick sick! Ordered this and it got here overnight by 10am (paid a little extra for shipping). Went to work on the dent, and it pulled it right out. Suction is EASY on flat metal, but when you have a large dent across a seam of the metal, you have to work just a little to get it to seal and get a good grip. But was able in short order to pull that dent right out! I will say that dents smaller than the diameter of this device, or dents across the "crease" of the metal side would not come completely out b/c you cant get a tight seal. But the majority of the dent is gone, and it looks WAY BETTER.COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH THIS PRODUCT.

great suction power and well built for the money

Rubber suction pads hold very well. Main body is a solid metal frame and very durable. Very good quality and thoroughly recommend.
