Hold LED lights secure to the wall
Well, what can one say about some LED lights track. They are light weight, of aluminum, and seem to work well. My shower niche would look nicely finished with the LED lights held by these tracks. My first time using them, but the guy remodeling my bathroom has used them in several bathrooms he has remodeled, this is his favorite brand to use.

So LOW profile and professional looking!!
Used along with LED COB lighting strips to add under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. Needed to do for a long time and finally had the time and courage to tackle it. We were nervous at first with doing our own DIY setup instead but it seems that the options have come A LONG way in the past decade. Hubby watched a Youtube video of someone doing similar project and it seemed easy enough. Definitely more complicated than getting the pre-made kits, which I'm sure work great but were more expensive and less customizable....Anyway, back to these tracks, hubby said he was surprised with how easy they cut - he even was able to use compound miter saw with normal blade he uses for woodworking. He attached the dampener to it prior to cutting to avoid having to cut the plastic dampener and the metal track separately. Used painters tape and cut slowly and it worked great - no issues with that. He also used the provided clips to attach the tracks to the cabinets. BE CAREFUL or you could go through the underside. He pre-drilled to just the right depth and had no issues with the install - no screws stripped or tore through the cabinet. You could (as others have recommended) use some double sided adhesive tape but he liked the idea of being able to remove easily in case the lights need repairing down the road - soldering upside down is NOOO FUN =)His only 'complaint' was that the little end caps that come with the system wouldn't work with our setup. Half of the caps come with a small (maybe 1/8 inch) hole to feed wires through and the other half are closed off. He had to drill larger holes due to using 18 gauge wires for a longer run and didn't want the possibility of voltage drop. We only needed 1 end piece after connecting all 6 of our lighting bays together. Definitely an 'our situation' problem and nothing against the product. They'd be great as-is if you're doing 6 separate bays and not connecting them.

good quality almost perfect
very nice looking. easy to cut with miter saw. the amount you get for the price is wonderful. 2 main issues. 1 it does not diffuse much light. I had to go with cob strips because I didn't want to see the bulbs. It did spread the light but not diffuse. 2 the clips it came with are trash. they were all bent out and unusable. I made holes and screwed them in. It's much cleaner looking and again, the clips weren't usable. other than that it was easy installation.

Works well with COB lightstrips
I was concerned that the new COB lightstip I installed over my kitchen cabinets were putting out a lot of heat and since they were simply laid on top of the cabinets, had begun to twist out of place. Since I never removed the backing from the COB lightstrips, I was able to adhere them to the metal channel. The metal channel acts like a heatsink and I feel safer. Now after a week, they are still in place. The 6mm height are tall enough for them not to be seen from the front of the cabinet. I opted not to use the plastic cover due to the light reduction with the cover on. I love them and they were easy to install.

Disappointing Decline in Quality Makes These Almost Unusable
I've been buying this brand of LED channel extrusions for several years now, today marks my fourth and final purchase. There are three functions of a good led channel: 1) Provide mounting options, protect led strips from damage. 2) Diffuse emitters to reduce glare and improve aesthetics. 3) Provide vital thermal mass to reduce heat, which is absolutely crucial for decent led longevity in many installs. When I first got these extrusions, I noticed that they were much thinner aluminum than other models. While they offerred decent diffusion, they did not by any means get rid of led dot visibility, even on strips with very high chip density. However, they still had enough aluminum to protect medium output strips from overheating. And, at just $5 per meter they offered an excellent value for any install where aesthetics or durability against bending/impact were not major concerns. I've been using them to light unfinished rooms, and for that purpose they have been excellent.Unfortunately, my positive experience has come to a close. With my most recent purchase, I noticed that the aluminum on the bottom of the channels was noticeably thinner than usual. In the past it was 0.68mm, which is already absolutely bare minimum for heat sinking. Now there is only ~0.5mm of thickness, and while -0.18mm might not sound like much reduction, the channel seems to have crossed the borderline to where it's no longer thermally effective. My strips now run significantly hotter, up into the 60C range without diffusers. 80C is the temperature most emitters fail at, but anything above 50C is going to significantly lower reliability. At 0.68mm, these channels were already significantly thinner than high quality models which are normally 1-1.5mm thick. Cost cutting on this product has diminished its most essential function: To protect led strips. It's likely that strips will die within 3-5 years if run full output in these channels. Plus, the reduced thickness makes them very flimsy. If the company that makes these were to bring the channels back to their original spec, this would be a decent product. If they were to increase the thickness of aluminum and get it closer to the 1mm "pro extrusion" standard, this would be an absolutely excellent product. High quality extrusions such as KLUS tend to cost upwards of $12 per meter, so there should be plenty of room to compete. I think most consumers would be happy to pay a bit more than the current $3.5 per meter if it meant getting a truly functional product. Unfortunately, the manufacture has chosen to go in the opposite direction and start producing a sub par product for marginally cheaper. It's clear that instead of seeking profit from added value, they hope to extract it by pulling tricks on their customers. I do realize that it is a generic amazon brand. You do get what you pay for. But recently, you get even less. It's especially objectionable to drop quality given that for just a few more cents of aluminum, this brand could easily set itself apart from the 100 other ones selling the same product...If you need high quality extrusions and have the budget, I recommend Klus as they produce a wide variety of nicely designed and aesthetically pleasing models. There should also be some good stuff at ~$10 per meter from other manufactures. However, if you are like me and want decent quality for ~$5-$8 per meter without ordering 500 units direct from china, the search continues. I would strongly recommend avoiding this seller until they fix their quality. Having to redo a laberous lighting install after just a few years all because someone 10,000km away needed to up their quarterly profit is not a pretty picture. If you are reading this and you are that person(s)... Please bring the original product back!

Product is ok - but they do not provide enough hardware to mount forcing to buy extra.
Product is not bad and relatively easy to install. That said caution - this is the 2nd time i purchase this product and 2nd time that they dont provide enough screws and wall mounts. I place 2 per bar as directed and both times was short of 2 to 4 wall mounts. Meaning i was force to buy a pack of extra screws and wall mounts - its a pity but feels a bit shady kinda practice
