I have had the charger for less than a year. I generally use it a few times a week to avoid carrying the original one that came with the labtop back and forth from my place of work. I would say after using it a few months it started to work randomly off and on, there would be times the laptop would not recognize it and I'm now to the point it doesn't work at all. I thought at the time the price was good, but I guess you get what you pay for.
