These Little Butter Ribbons Changed My Life
I don't use much butter because it's what, 100% FAT? But I LOVE BUTTER. This little gadget lets you control the amount of butter where you can still get a taste without the awkwardness of trying to cut little bitty pieces off the stick. I use the type of butter that is in the longer, skinny sticks, so had no problem loading the gadget.First try with cold butter, it was very difficult to turn and I thought I had made a mistake. Next day, it wasn't as hard....not sure why, but maybe it just needed to "settle in" or something. The third day, I ran hot water over the outside of the square portion the butter is in just to un-stick the butter from the walls of the dispenser. It worked just great, even with the butter being cold. You do have to "back off" with the screw part to keep more butter from oozing out the opening. Easy. Then one day, I let the butter sit out an hour or so before dinner and it still worked wonderfully. Even easier. The muffin or bread or whatever you are having does NOT have to be warm. Just be ready to detach the ribbon of butter with your table knife, fork, or even your finger. The butter will break away from the dispenser if you just pinch & pull the ribbon with your fingers. Your fingers are only on the piece you took out, so the butter inside is still clean. To wash it after running out of butter, I simply used HOT water out of the tap with liquid dish soap. The butter came right off with the hot water and soap. It's dishwasher safe, so if I can get it clean in the sink, your dishwasher can do as good or better at cleaning the gadget.Crazy Russian Hacker's Butter Gadgets Put to the Test on YouTube [...] is how I learned there was such a thing. He has the red top kind, but I found too many bad reviews on that one. This all-white one is a dream.

Best thing happen to butter
I've been using the Butter Mill for a while now and, honestly, it's been a game-changer in my kitchen. It's one of those tools you didn't know you needed until you have it.Before I had the Butter Mill, spreading cold, hard butter on bread was always a bit of a struggle. With this tool, that problem is a thing of the past. It grates the butter into thin, easy-to-spread ribbons even when the butter is straight from the fridge. It's so effortless that it almost feels like magic! The Butter Mill is straightforward to use and clean, which adds to its appeal. It's certainly become a must-have in my kitchen. If I had to find a drawback, it would be that you need to make sure you screw the top on securely. If it's not, the butter might not grate properly. In conclusion, the Butter Mill is an excellent tool. It has made the simple act of buttering bread so much easier. It's a must-have for anyone who enjoys butter on their bread, toast, or pastries. Despite the minor issue with the top, I'm still giving it a full five stars for its practicality and efficiency.

it may break with hard butter
Works ok. Feels like it will break when at fridge temp. It does work when running under hot water first like it says but I was really looking for something that would shave the butter when cold. On a good note it is completely sealed so it can be left on the counter and won't leak

Won’t last a week!
It only lasted for about a week. It stopped twisting the butter which was what it was supposed to do. I trashed it. I would NOT recommend buying this kitchen butter gadget.

Could function better
This product allows the easy use of stick butter on toast etc. The amount of butter is ideally thin. A utensil or finger is needed to cut the stream of butter each application. NOT TO BE STORED IN THE REFRIGERATOR. Cold butter is very very difficult to turn the handle to squeeze out. A tightly fitting cap covers the small amount of butter that is exposed when not in use. I only put 1/2 sticks of butter in each time so the crank handle does not stick out so far. A full stick of butter doubles the height. The plunger does not have a seal so refilling with a new stick of butter is messy. Without a seal, butter oozes past the plunger and. Onto to threads inside. I folded up a paper towel to act as a seal in front of the plunger to prevent blow past. That paper towel always got stuck in the tube when trying to refill with a new sticj

Great Item to spread cold butter
i purchase this as I hate to try to butter bread with cold butter as it tears the bread. With the butter mill, butter comes out paper thin so you can easily butter your bread. Love it. I have had it a couple of months and do not know how i ever got along without this butter mill

Great for buttering toast
This makes it so easy to butter toast even when using it straight out of the refrigerator. Twist the handle slowly then just before you want to stop, turn the handle in the oposite direction because butter will continue to come out due to the pressure insude. It is stated that butter in California and other states are too large. I trim the Costco butter on 2 sides, place it in the dispenser and cut the trimmings into smaller pieces. It may seem like a lot of work but the ease of using the dispenser to me outweighs the trouble of filling it.

Well, I wanted to love this....
Well, I wanted to love this.... If your butter is the exactly right temperature, you can produce thin butter ribbons that melt very nicely on your toast! If it is cold from the refrigerator - not so much. If it is warm-ish/room temperature - not so much. When I try to use it from the refrigerator, it refuses to dispense the butter, but it does squish up into the area behind the pusher. Same if it is too soft. It just makes a mess in the area up close to the handle. When it does either of these things, it is very hard to clean. I have resorted to getting slices from the paper-wrapped stick of butter. I wish I was within the return window.

Einfache zu bedienen
Für uns ist der Butterspender super!👍Geht einfacher, wenn er 1/2 Stunde vor Gebrauch aus dem Kühlschrank genommen wird.

Works Great!
I used butter right out of the fridge and this device worked so smoothly and easily to give me ribbons of beautiful butter. So worth it!
User
Funciona como se esperaba, la tapa llegó rota
Si funciona y si es más facil untar la mantequilla despues de pasarla por este molino, el único problema fue que la tapa venia rota...
User
Great buy
Very pricey but it really works well.
User
