I flushed the system at about 115,000 miles and thought I would give this a try. It took a month or so before I started to not notice the noise anymore. I did the maximum dose recommended but topped it off when it was a little low with a bit more. It really works well. I am not sure if I would use it in a newer vehicle without some research but it's great for an old clunker. Review: really works - I have an older ford taurus and it had the typical ford power steering whine. I flushed the system and the whine just got worst. I added the whole container and after a couple hundred miles I don't notice it anymore, good stuff

Does quiet down pump
I ordered this when I saw a video of someone else reviewing product. It did quiet down the pump. Got rid of the high pitch squeal. Pump still makes some noise but that might be because I use power steering fluid instead of ATF that is recommended.

Does nothing
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Does not work. My 200,000 mile power steering pump started winning. I completely flushed the system and filled with fresh fluid. Still winning. Got this Pro Blend, took some fluid out and put the Pro Blend in. Drove for a week. No change. Took some more fluid out and used the remaining Pro Blend. Drove for three weeks. Still NO CHANGE. Complete waste of my money.

Fixed Ford Focus steering problem
I can only state that my 2008 Ford Focus had a horrible problem "eating" power steering fluid. I did have a slight whine, and was dumping lots of Lucas additive fluid into my Focus for 2 or 3 years. Every few months I would have problems steering; and hear a problem. Then I used the Turkey baster method to remove my fluid (effectively a poor man's flushing the system) and used only 25% of this product with 75% of regular old Prestone Power steering fluid. The problem is gone. In fact, I can't remember the last time I needed to add PS fluid to my car. I spent 2 years of every other month being reminded my steering wheel doesn't work, to me now fondly remembering the times I added more of the "Power Steering Formula WITH STOP LEAK!" in my car and being disappointed. Every 4 to 6 weeks. Each time thinking " oh yeah, this 'stop leak' formula is finally going to start working this time. If your Ford is eating steering fluid with no obvious reason, try a bottle of this. Suction out the old fluid, change it with a little of this, and kiss your problems goodbye.

Last resort
It was time to service the Pwr Steering on my 2003 Ford Ranger. The pump has been noisy for sometime. I used this product to try quieting the howl. There was no change but it was worth a try. The container was easier to use than a quart.

This stuff works!
I have a 97 Ford F150, my family altogether we own 5 ford trucks, all or them have a slight whine when you turn the wheel at low speeds. My truck in particular, the whine became VERY loud, so loud that people would stare at me in parking lots. I had my power steering pump and fluid replaced and it did not solve my issue. I added this Pro Blend to my reservoir and the whine is almost gone, this stuff decreased the whine about 90- 95%

Totally amazed !! I highly recommend this product!!
My Moms 2003 Dodge Caravan was making horrible steering groans and whines. It was embarrassing to drive or ride in it, and a little unnerving Had the steering fluid cleaned and replaced, didn’t help. Several shops had offered to replace the pump for hundreds of dollars. In doing research on the issue I found this product. I ordered it, but frankly did not have much confidence it would quiet it down much. Imagine my surprise when it totally removed every bit of the noise....and it drives/steers so easy and smooth! I’m impressed and extremely happy it worked so well!!
