Love this game and the purchase was easy.

A Great addition to Blood Rage! This expansion consists of several miniatures that represent the Gods of Asgard. The way they work is at the start of the game two random gods are chosen and then each are placed on a province. What the gods do is modify the province they are in by changing a core rule. An example of this change is the god Frigga who does not allow anyone to be destroyed in her province. After a player pillages successfully, or not, they move the god to a different province to be modified. This continues around the board until they are not allowed to be moved, and then a new age has them redistributed again. The Asgardians are: Odin, who allows a player that successfully pillage to receive the pillage award again. Thor, player receives two glory per destroyed figure for winning a fight. Tyr, all figures strength in battle is zero and only card strength matters. Frigga, figures cannot be destroyed. Loki, players that lose the battle gain glory instead of the winner. Heimdall, cards are played face up one at a time during battle with pillage player placing last. The Gods of Asgard expansion adds variety to the game, and allows more strategy to develop during play. Also an interesting variant to the rules is available that allows players to change out the two gods at the start of each age. This allows players to use more of the gods in the game.

Great game expansion. Really adds to the original. The sculpted figures alone are worth the price.

I'm a fan of Bloodrage, and I found that adding the gods to the game was an interesting design decision to increase the variation and re-playablity of the game. As one only uses two gods in any given game, it will take a long time to cycle through all the variations on the game that this expansion creates. My only reservation is that some of the God's effects can be avoided or nullified by the course of the game, so the can be less game changing than expected depending on how things shake out.

A great expansion, but the price is a bit much compared to the regular game I won't blame you if you decided to add these rules with tokens and printed cards

A good expansion for the money. Figures are proportionate to the figures from the base game. Odin is separate from his throne so you can paint all the details easily before sticking him in permanently. The gods are moved by player choice multiple times during each age so it adds an element of strategy rather than an element of luck.

Great quality miniatures easy to pickup for intermediate or begginers to the board gaming industry. Adds value to the core really Sparks it up.

Great addition to blood rage

Esta expansión consta de 6 miniaturas altamente detalladas de los dioses nórdicos destacados en este juego, 6 cartas de los dioses y el instructivo con la reglas para usar esta expansión. Esta versión multilenguaje (modelo BLR303) cuenta con un juego de cartas e instructivo en 6 idiomas distintos: inglés, español, italiano, polaco, alemán y francés. Con esta expansión en cada partida se pueden agregar 2 dioses en 2 regiones distintas, los cuáles alteran las reglas en las batallas que se lleven acabo en las regiones donde estén dichos dioses. Algunos dioses hacen que ganar la batalla sea más redituable, otros que sea más fácil ganar la batalla teniendo cartas de combate poderosas y otros hacen que perder no sea tan perjudicial. Además agrega una nuevo nivel de estrategia ya que al terminar un combate el jugador que inició la pelea debe mover el dios que se encuentre en esa región a una diferente, por lo que uno puede querer iniciar combates sólo para poder mover al dios a una región donde beneficie al jugador actual o a donde perjudique a los demás jugadores. En conclusión esta expansión hace mejor aún ciertas estrategias (como por ejemplo la estrategia de Loki de estar perdiendo constantemente combates o la de Thor de ganar la mayor cantidad de combates posibles) dependiendo de la combinación de dioses que hay en cada partida. Estas miniaturas son muy buenas para pintarse y el precio de esta expansión ($250) me parece bueno siendo que incluye sólo 6 miniaturas adicionales, pero la rejugabilidad que agrega al juego base es muy buena.

Muy buena expansión, no tan necesaria pero la verdad si le añade cosas nuevas que hace pensar más tus jugadas.
