I only gave this 3 star as I was expecting more of an orange blossom scent which I didn't detect. This is no criticism as the perfume is quite pleasant but not for me.Agnes

I was hoping that i could agree with the glowing reviews. Another miss for me. Yevress (Champagne) YLS is an old favorite of mine that I can no longer afford..( the price is literally a bit over EIGHT times, what it used to be). I cast my hopes on a review that said Rare Gold was a lighter version of Yvress. HA hahahahahahaha. Oh when will I learn??!! NOTHING even CLOSE. But I find the descriptions of perfume COMPLETELY unreliable. There must be a very real "perception"element to scents because the reviews are always all over the place as far as describing scents. I don't even really rely on the fragrance notes as MOST often I cant perceive them as they are listed; plus evidently the same notes can be very different from perfume to perfume. Rare Gold has a prominent scent that used to be in make-up of old...often lipstick. To me very artificial, stuffy. Nothing clean, peachy, or jasmine. MABEY lilies.... old funeral-home lilies & old make-up.It smells like my mothers OLD lipstick..... mom would be nearly 100 if she were alive. that makes me an OLD LADY... & this smells like an OLD-ER lady to me...the lipstick /makeup note...thing they used to put in everything for women.YUCK.

Smells better than some expensive overrated perfumes. If you still want to buy it by all means go head. It’s your money.

It cologne is not as good as the one i use couple years aback, it smell the say but dies last as long, i am keeping it to my collection tho....
