My son loves axolotls, so he was thrilled when he got this as a gift. It's soft, and the prettiest blue. It's perfect for playing and has held up.

Grandkids like them. Whoever could have imagined kids snuggling up to an axolotl. (They are very plush, large enough to cuddle and cute)

I bought this stuffy for my grandson for his birthday. He is going to absolutely love it. It is super soft and seams to be very high quality. I love that it is more realistic than any others I’ve seen.

My grandson wore an axolotl costume for Halloween. I had to do some research to find out what that was. I have made him a number of stuffed animals and he asked if I would make him an axolotl. I decided it was beyond my sewing skills! So I found this great stuffie that was just what he wanted and he is delighted with it. It is a nice size at 21". It seems well made and is cute and soft. He says it is adorable and has added it to the menagerie he sleeps with.

But then again, it is supposed to be an axolotl. Just buy it for your kid and they'll be happy. But they will still want something else won't they? Tell them they will have to wait and just play with this fun axolotl.
