This says "7-count" but also 2.5 yds. What does that mean? Is it 7 pieces that are 2.5 yds each? Or is it 2.5 yds total?

1 piece 2.5yds. 7 count is 7 threads per inchI hope you know you must bast stitch the raw ends and pre-shrink before use.

Can you do punch needle projects with this?

Absolutely you can use this for punch needle projects if used with yarn. I have created many punch needle projects using 7 count monks cloth.

Do you have the material for swedish embroidery

I use yarn, either 3 or 4 ply. They come out beautiful and other than that a yarn needle without a huge eye. It's almost like the huck embroidery I did as a child.

Has anyone used this for yarn punch needle embroidery? How did it work?

I used this for swedish weaving with yarn to make afghans. We also called it Huck embroidery using yarn. It's a nice heavy fabric that has a lose weave making it perfect for yarn.

Strong fabric that doesn't tear if you have to pull out and redo. I use it for punch needle work with 2 strands of DK wool. Wish you also stocked a higher count monks cloth that I could use with a single strand of DK
