The pads fits firmly and secure on the ath m50x's, The pads quality is very high, good and soft pads, they're larger than the standard pads that's on m50x and fits around my ears much better than the original pads On the m50x this is a must have product. The pads are also deeper than the original so my ears are not touching the driver's The pads remain cool over long periods of time. I work from home using these pads from 9 am to 11pm and with these pads there is no discomfort at all. 10/10 well worth the buy. Very soft smooth and cool feel I also wear glasses and these pads are soft enough for me to not feel any discomfort from that at all.

Alot firmer than the pads they replaced on my arctis pro and slightly different shape however still very comfortable better sound deadening and the cooling when first put on is a nice touch

The earpads are great, they're thick and soft, comfortable and great quality. However, do not buy these for the "cooling gel". Whilst they aren't lying, the gel does cool you, it only lasts for the minute or two after you first put your headphones on, after which time they have taken on the heat of your body and actually start to warm the area around your ears to what I assume many would consider to be and uncomfortable level. I personally don't have issue with heat when wearing headphones, but I write this review in the height of autumn, I doubt it'll be this bearable in the middle of summer. I'd say skip these and just buy the non-cooling version. They also hold onto that heat for a while after you take the headphones off, so sometimes when you come back to listening to your audio, the headphones will still be warm and you'll get no cooling effect at all. Five star product, honestly, based on the quality and comfort, but lost a star because the cooling gel is a gimmick and actually works against you when you need the cooling effect most.

These ear pads are excellent and great value for money, they are a huge step above the default Arctis pads. They cool really well and improve the quality of sounds in games. They are super easy to install and are extra thick for increased cushion and comfort.

A slightly older pair of Audio Technica headphones that were comfortable for maybe 20 minutes, have been transformed with these replacement ear pads. They weren't listed as being compatible, but Audio Technica seem to have had the same fitment for ages to I assumed they would fit, and they did. Super comfortable with firm yet supple padding. Much deeper than the original pads, plenty of room for your ear. The cooling works very well. After extended wear, yeah you can feel warmth, but things never get sweaty. I will almost certainly get more of these for any headphones I own in the future.

They do actually feel weirdly cooler than my previous stock headphone pads. Everything has pretty much already been said about them, slightly larger than the stock ATH M40x pads, slightly deeper as well. They were a little tricky to get on, but not impossible; I expected them to be more difficult to attach. I got them in the cyan prism pattern, they remind me a bit of Parisian fashion trends in the late 80s. Very comfortable and definitely an improvement on the stock pads. I'll definitely buy more when the pads on my other headphones start to degrade. Maybe I'll buy some before that even happens.

I had high hopes for these but I’m afraid to say that unfortunately I didn’t like them. The fit wasn’t great to start with and the cooling gel didn’t cool. If anything they got warm enough to give you slightly sweaty ears. On top of that they weren’t particularly comfortable either. Overall they seemed slightly too big for the headphones and the memory foam construction lacked structure and lost shape. I’ve replaced the so called upgrades with the original ear cups which at least fit properly and don’t give you sweaty ears. I’ve now tried replacement ear cups from two of the main sellers available on Amazon and found both products didn’t live up to expectations. Both claimed to offer a cooling effect and superior comfort which when put to the test they both failed to deliver. At least this experience has made me appreciate the quality stock ear cups that come with the Steelseries Arctus 9 X headphones. If they ever fall apart on me I’ll just replace them with official cups directly from Steelseries. I wouldn’t recommend buying any replacements that claim to actively cool your ears especially hybrids because they don’t work.The poor fit is probably down to the wide range of models they are supposed to fit. By trying to fit so many types they have had to compromise fit in order to cover the many variations They’ll never fit as well as the official ones that have been made specially for Steelseries headphones. It’s made me appreciate just how good the standard ones are. Luckily for me the returns process is pretty straightforward. I’ll stick with the official ones from now on.
